A Toy Friend's History (A Poppy Playtime Story)

Narrator

After every kid got to the Train Station, Sigh Stella split you into 3 groups. Stella was in charge of the 1st group, the cosplayer was in charge of the 2nd and another person was in charge of the 3rd.

"Okay kids! I'll call out the names for the different groups.."

You and Troy just looked at each other with the most annoyed faces.

"We shouldn't have come here," Troy whispered while the kids were lining up.

"No you're really right.. we shouldn't have."

You spilt up with Troy and got behind a girl in front of you, who seemed to be slightly younger than you. She was either Karol or Polly that's for sure. Nathan stood behind you,while you just sighed.

You noticed group 1 going towards the first game "Musical Memory" with Sigh Stella and group 3 going towards "Statues".

"All right then- let's go kids! The trip to Wack-a-Wuggy!"

"Wack-a.. what?" you whispered as the group moved down towards the game.

...

You followed the cosplayer into the room. This led to a huge room with some safe-guarding employees watching at the top. The room mainly had holes with the colours red, blue, green and yellow. The game was to work as a team with your group to 'wack' as many Huggies as possible that came out of the holes.

"All right kids good luck! And here.. you will need these GrabPacks to help you 'wack' them from a far distance."

As all of you grabbed a GrabPack, you got into a circle with faced-away backs from each other.

The game begun, it was quite harder than you could imagine. You almost missed one as Polly saved your back.

"Thank you!"

Polly started to speak, "You're welco- Ah! Oh my god!"

Suddenly a blue Huggy jumped out at Polly, "Don't worry! These are harmless! They have strings attached so they don't get too close!"

"Are they real?!"

Reader's POV

Back in the main Train station area, my group arrived back with the two groups already waiting for us. Stella, the cosplayer and the other person stepped into the front to the train to put in the code. My group got the number code, which was '4, 2, 1, 3'.

Weirdly enough, the Daycare was closed announced by Stella. All the kids seemed dissatisfied.

Troy ran up me while the kids were directed to hop on board.

"How was your game? What was it like?" Troy asked.

"Troy! It was so scary! There would be these Huggies that jump out at you- you had to 'wack' them with the GrabPack!

"Aww! Mine was to memorise the code and there was a creepy doll named "Bunzo Bunny", who would come down every time you got it wrong from above!"

I walked on board with Troy, "I didn't even know mum released the GrabPacks- it seems to early."

"Maybe she already had it out, but we didn't know because we was never with Sigh Stella?" Troy replied as me and him sat down.

I saw Polly wave at me and I waved back before turning back to Troy, "Sh! Don't say her nickname out loud!"

"Alright- anyway who was you waving at just now?"

"Oh there's a girl I met named Polly. She kinda saved me at the games before she got jump scared because I distracted her."

"That's so funny- I would laugh on the spot if that happened to me!"

I elbowed Troy's arm before smiling slightly back at him. The Playtime Train started to move.

The ride to the other platform was quite short apparently the next stop was to the Toy Making Room or the Make-a-Friend Room, where you and Troy already went in the Hide and Seek game with Huggy.

As the Train stopped and everyone got off, all the children seemed to be so excited and happy, but for what? They went here literally every single day you thought or at least whenever the Poppy Playtime Factory was open.

All the children ran off and got into a circle and then sat down while the 3 adults stood before them. You sat down with Troy and decided to ask not to participate in this one.

Stella made the children create a line with 4 children going at a time since there was only 3 levers and 1 person to put the toy on the scanner.

"Since two children aren't going, who would the 2 people going a second time want to be?"

Of course, every child raise their hand shouting, "me!".

4 minutes later, the children did what they was told. It turns out the two children named CJ and Sophie were going twice.

You and Troy sat next to the door curve while you noticed the person, who led the 3rd group, sitting down next to you.

"Hello- I'll go if you want," the male said.

"Uh- no it's okay! but- why are you sitting here?" you asked.

Troy shifted uncomfortably in his seat while the man just gave you and Troy a lollipop.

"You're Mrs Rowan's daughter right?"

"Well- yeah."

"Thought so. You know about whats happened to Huggy right?"

"Uh- nope. My mum keeps making up excuses. I know I'm a child, but.. I can't fall for those things," you replied.

"Well- your mum was thinking about shutting down the factory some day. It's all because of Huggy," you and Troy glanced looks at each other while he continued. "I'm going to get fired soon. I know it. Me and your mother used to be so close and now she's all stressed and- she's more involved with the innovation party. I can't say all of it, but it's Nanny Delaney, right? Your nan? Listen to her. That's all I've got to say. By the way my name's Junior."

As Junior left, you and Troy just stared at each other in silence.

"Do you think it's true what nan said? Is that what he meant?"

"Not sure. Maybe we should get his phone number and add it when we're older."
