Troy was quite shocked when you asked that. It's mainly because you was scared of the attic. The spiders, dust and you still believe the fact that there's a monster, who crawls around at night in there from the noises you once heard.

Troy climbed down and held the ladder in place as you climbed up.

"Where's the light switch?" you asked.

"Uh it's on that wooden support thing- opposite of you!"

"Oh!" you found a light switch, which thankfully worked.

Shit. All the boxes looked the exact same. You was going to label them with Troy before putting them up there, but you kinda forgot.

"Uh- they all look the same!"

"Uh! I think it's the one behind the one nearest to you!"

"Uhm okay!" you crawled stealthy- or quite carefully and picked up the 'Halloween' box. It felt kinda heavy, but not so much to what you couldn't managed.

You held it down to Troy as he grabbed it. As you climbed down the ladders, Troy opened the box to appear not the Halloween stuff, but- Poppy Playtime?

"I thought you threw all of that away?" Troy asked.

"Uhm.. I really couldn't. You know how it was my mum's and Evelyn's factory and it was important to them, which was important to me."

You fiddled with your hands nervously as Troy just shrugged, "Eh. It's okay don't worry. It's not like I believe what nan told us- well maybe, but it's just the scary theories of it!"

"It's interesting! And the factory is still around!"

"Are you saying-" Troy did. finished what he was going to say.

"Mh.. maybe..?"

"Y/N? I thought we was leaving all of that behind us!"

You just fiddled with your hands awkwardly. It was just the fact there was so many unknown theories and mysteries no one really finished..

Troy just sighed and didn't take the box back up. He went up the attic stairs to try and find the Halloween decorations.

...

Reader's POV

Later on, me and Troy hung most of the decorations up. We still needed to decorate the outside of our house.

"Pass me the Halloween wreath!" Troy said.

While he asked me to pass the decorations, I decided to put an inflatable ghost-in-a-pumpkin object near to the door. Of course I didn't want it to block the way.

"Hey! That looks great!" a girl said, walking past your house.

I thanked her before finally finishing all the Halloween decorations outside.

Me and Troy laid on the living room until we heard a meow from me and Troy's bedroom. Sombrio!

It was quite hilarious to see Troy get up and sprint towards Som's meow. Oh well!

I raced after him to see Sombrio just sitting in front of the Poppy Playtime box. Oh. I didn't exactly know what to say since I didn't want to make Troy upset or anything.

I don't even get why Troy was upset since he used to be obsessed with Poppy Playtime and now.. he's kinda frightened?

I looked at my phone time to see it's 5pm?!
Work! Shit!

"Love you! Gotta get changed for work!" I kissed Troy on the cheek, while he just stared at the box and I got changed in the bathroom.

After a few minutes, I finally left the house in my car and took off to the Monotony Arcade.

...

I rushed inside and went to towards Tasha, who was just walking around the arcade.

"Tasha!"

"Finally girl! Yolanda was getting angry!"

"Please come with me!" I begged.

"Hell no! I hate seeing her angry! Where was you?" Tasha asked.

"I- I was helping Troy with the Halloween decorations!" I explained in panic when I saw Yolanda coming outside the staff room.

She looked at my direction and walked over to me in fury.

"Oh that kid needs help! Bye Y/N!" Tasha jogged towards a kid who's machine got stuck while Yolanda rushed her way over to me.

"Y/N!"

"I know I'm sorry! I was helping Troy with decorations and I got caught up with stuff and Sombrio!"

"Sombrio?" Yolanda asked suspiciously.

"I got a new cat! I'm super sorry I was distracted with him!"

"Ugh.." Yolanda groaned. "It's alright.. only because it's a cat! If a cat is apart of your drama then- fine!"

Yolanda was a huge cat lover. She had about 8 cats (including 3 grown with 5 kittens) along with an arcade cat. The arcade cat was a cat, who roamed around the arcade to just walk or sit on different games. Her name was Arcadian, but she was sweet. Everybody always petted her, which is why the arcade was so popular.

Hours passed until 12pm when everyone in the arcade and even the girl you met yesterday, who got the times wrong, left.

You, Tasha and Yolanda stayed in the arcade eating popcorn from the popcorn machine and slushies from the food and drink stall.

As Yolanda slurped she said, "By the way- where exactly is the party Tasha?"

"Oh so, I'll pick you guys up! It's at my family's mansion! We have to drive like for 1 hour? But it's a good place I promise!" Tasha replied.

"If we are going at night then I'm okay with it. Love my night car rides!" you said, as Tasha and Yolanda agreed.

"Wait- is Troy like addicted to Sombrio?"

"Sombrio?" Tasha asked.

"My new cat- anyway yes! Pretty sure if it was between me and Sombrio falling off a cliff, Troy would pick Sommy," you sighed.

"Can't blame him."

"Damn girl. Bring Sombrio with us!" Tasha suggested.

"Hmm maybe."
