Mommy's POV

The rest of the toys and me were still waiting for a reply of Y/N. We texted her to say that the police was probably gone now since it's literally been 2 days.

"Mom! I'm so bored," PJ complained.

"I know. Everyone is. The police must be gone by now.. right?" I asked rhetorically.

Everyone nodded. I sighed dramatically, while viewing old toys until everyone heard a beep from Poppy's watch.

The toys all crowded around the watch that Poppy had, while I was watching from the top.

Y/N: (texts)

Hey, the police are gone, but I'm not going to come over tomorrow.

'Why? Are you stupid?!'

Listen, it'll be fine. Who knows if the police might come back?

'Us! And the truth is that they won't because we've been doing this since forever!'

And by 'us' you mean the toys'?

'Duh! You wouldn't! Can't you just come now? It's not that difficult to check on us!'

I could, but I won't.

PJ: Hi!

Y/N: Okay.. How could you not tell me that Poppy?

Y/N: I trusted you guys with my life! And you were the ones to eat them!

Mommy: Y/N- what are you talking about?

Y/N: The ex-employees at this factory! You were the ones to eat them?

Daisy: What is she..

Boogie-Bot: Y/N?

Poppy: Y/N- listen- they were bad people! They was the ones to experiment on us!

Y/N: They only wanted their loved ones back!

Poppy: So you're saying that we are in the wrong?

Y/N: No- it's very complicated!

Readers POV

I hanged up on the toys to calm down. I knew I didn't word it right, but geez! I didn't think the toys were actually so cruel to have the courage to eat the employees. What if they ate Evelyn or my mum?!

The watch didn't stop beeping or ringing so I eventually had to listen to music to get myself to sleep.

In a few hours, I woke up and noticed how Poppy stopped calling and texting eventually after 30 minutes. The texts went on forever..

Poppy: Hello?
Y/N?
C'mon you don't understand!
Read my messages and stop ignoring me!
I swear if you don't reply..
Huggy wants to talk to you!
Please just get online!
I'll explain everything!

Listen, the police are gone and everyone is back to normal, but we're all waiting for you to come back.

I sighed and turned off the watch. I finally decided to get changed and put makeup on to go and visit the toys. Geez.

Narrator

In 1 hour, you made it to the factory. You couldn't ignore the anxiety levels increasing as soon as you got out of your car.

You was trying to predict what they'll do.. Scream? Kill? Potentially threaten? Lock you in a cage?

You got into your car and rushed to the factory.

Sneaking into the factory, you walked around until you saw Kick-Me-Paul. Huh? He didn't speak besides using hand signals to follow him.

You followed him until you found yourself watching Poppy and Mommy speaking in the hallway.

Paul left your side and you couldn't be asked to deal with their bullshit and trudged towards them.

"Hmm? Well! Look who it is! Thought you wasn't going to appear," Poppy stated as she turned head, while glaring at you.

Mommy was being oddly quiet as you spoke to Poppy, "Well you messaged that you was going to explain.. so explain."

"Follow me," Poppy guided to towards the Red Room and sat opposite you. Weirdly enough, Mommy took a different root and separated from the two of you.

"Right. So.. why do you eat humans?" you asked.

"Listen to me, we only eat humans because we are made of them-"

"Bullshit!"

Poppy sighed and broke eye contact with you. She stayed quiet for a while before continuing, "Okay fine. You want the truth? Well.. the truth is that after each toy was 'created' and experimented on. All of us noticed that we still had a hunger for food. After we was used all day for the children, the employees never used to feed us. They didn't think we could eat until they noticed more food being taken from the cafeteria that's when they used to lock us up at night. All the toys came together during the day and thought about the all the valid reasons for why we didn't deserve this life-"

"I get it, but Poppy why huma-"

"I wasn't finished!" Poppy yelled slightly. "As I was saying, all of us thought of a plan to get food, but it didn't succeed. This is when one day.. the day when Huggy escaped. He escaped and ran out leaving groups of the employees to search for him. This is when he finally ate his first human and on that night.. he brought us some of the employees remains back for us. Of course, we didn't want to! We promise! But we was all so hungry and basically enslaved. So that's how it all happened."
