I sigh as the auditorium door shuts behind me.
I start my walk, thinking back to every conversation and every interaction I had with everyone. Thinking of everything everyone had said and everything I could have said.
I should've said more. But I didn't and I guess that's okay. It'll have to be.
Everyone seemed fine. Even Summer. And it was actually interesting listening to everyone talk, and even learning something new about Cin.
I'll bother him about what he said to me later.
I start heading up the stairs when I see Peter turning around the corner to come down the same steps as me. He's on his phone, not really paying attention to his surroundings.
I never know when to wave at people in the hallways, and I wouldn't really say that me and Peter are friends, but I do know the guy. But it isn't like he's paying attention to me anyways, since he's on his phone. I just have to hope that he doesn't notice me as he walks past. But even if he does, it isn't my fault that I didn't acknowledge him. We barely talk anyways. Plus, he's the one not paying attention-
"Where were you during lunch?" Peter asks from behind me.
I turn around and look down at him already halfway down the steps.
"None of your business." I say to him sharply.
Peter scoffs and continues to walks down the stairs.
I turn back around and head towards my class.
Before I walk through the classroom door, I check to see if Cin had texted me yet.
He hasn't.
I feel a small pit in my stomach as turn the doorknob.
