(Y/N) pov

It was a sunny afternoon and the rainforests of Pandora as me and my sister, Neytiri, were out hunting for food. I perched myself on a tree branch and scanned the surroundings for anything to shoot at. Then, something caught my eye.

"Neytiri!" I called out. Seeing her head peek round the corner of a tree. I ushered her over.

"What, did you see something?" she whispered to me.

"I think so" I muttered "follow me."

We jumped around the branches of the towering trees until the creature that had caught my eye was in sight. It was a dreamwalker. I placed an arrow on my bowstring and pulled it back, ready to release the arrow. Then, an atokirina landed on the tip of the arrow, shocking both me and Neytiri. She placed a hand on my shoulder, I released the tension on the arrow, lowering the bow to my hip, slightly frustrated that I didn't get to kill the dreamwalker.

"We should follow him, see what he's up to" Neytiri suggested.

"Do we have to, I just want to hunt what we came to hunt and go home" I moaned.

"Y/N" she said sternly "he could hurt the clan if we're not careful."

I sighed, knowing she was right. As we followed him, I began to think that he didn't know where he was going you even what he was doing. I examined the dreamwalker as well as I could from the distance we were at. He wore far too much cloth on his body, making it obvious he wasn't a normal na'vi. He also held some sort of metal weapon, I had seen them before and knew what they could do.

The sun began to set, making me nervous.

"I think we should head back," I said, prodding Neytiri's arm "it's not safe out here at night."

"I know," she whispered "but we need to watch this dreamwalker, he's dangerous"

"He doesn't look dangerous, he doesn't even know what he's doing." I said irritated

"You can go home is your want." Neytiri said "I'm sure the thanator's will leave you alone."

"I-It's fine," I muttered "I'll stay with you"

As night fell, I continued to watch the confused avatar. He sharpen a stick and tore off a piece of his shirt, wrapping it around the end. He then dipped it in the sap of one of the nearby trees and set it alight. I squinted slightly at the sudden brightness and stared in amazement as I'd never seen a dreamwalker with such resourcefulness.

However, the sudden brightness had caught the attention of something, a pack of viperwolves. They circled him, hissing and baring their teeth. He just stood there, almost dancing around with them. 'Maybe he isn't as smart as I guessed' I thought. Suddenly, a viperwolf lunged at him but he hit it away, causing them rest of them to star attacking.

I leaned forward ready to run and help him but Neytiri stopped me.

"We cannot help him, he is one of the sky people" she stated.

"I don't care," I said "I won't let him die just because he was being stupid."

With that I jumped forward, drawing back an arrow and firing at one the viperwolves. As I landed a pulled out my knife and started slashing any viperwolves that jumped at me. I then saw Neytiri jump from the tree and land beside me before hissing at the viperwolves that quickly scurried away. I sheathed my knife as my sister picked up the dreamwalker's stick and through it into the nearby river. I heard him mutter something but paid no attention to it.

"Let's go home, it's clear he's no threat" Neytiri said to me, making me giggle.

As we left, he started to follow us.

"Thank you for saving me" he said.

He just kept talking and it was starting to get annoying, but then he made the mistake of touch my shoulder, to which my siter hit him with her bow.

"Don't thank! You don't thank for this! This is sad. Very sad." Neytiri yelled at him.

"Okay, I'm sorry. Whatever I did - I'm sorry" The dreamwalker replied.

"All this is your fault! They did not need to die."

"They attacked me. How am I the bad guy?"

"Your fault!" My sister yelled "You are like baby, making noise, don't know what to do." I smiled, seeing the shock on his face from my sister's words. "You should not come here, all of you! You only come and make problems. Only."

"Okay, fine," he said, "you love your little forest friends. So why not let them kill my ass? What's the thinking?"

Neytiri glanced over to me as I shrugged. "It didn't feel right to let you die." I confessed.

He looked at me surprised and stood up. "Your English is a lot better than hers." he said, gesturing to Neytiri, to which she gave him a death glare.

"Thank you," I said, "I practice sometimes."

My sister then grabbed me by the arm and said "He is not to be trusted. We are going home!"

"But-"

"No Y/N, come on" she said as she yanked my arm pulling back towards the hometree. But the dreamwalker was still following us.
