(Y/N) pov

As he walked towards me and my family, I felt my mind flood with emotions, some happy, some sad, some angry. It was so confusing. The na'vi who had previously been praying now stood, parting to let him through as he walked past.

His eyes never left mine as he walked through the crowd. I found myself lost in them like I had been when we first met, but I shook myself out of it. How could I forgive him after everything he'd done? When he was close enough, Jake opened his mouth to speak before I cut him off.

"Not now, we'll talk about it later." I insisted, he nodded and turned his attention to my family.

"Tsu'tey of the Rongola, son of Ateyo. I stand before ready to serve the People." Jake announced. "You are Olo'eyctan, and you are the best warrior. I can't do this without."

I saw the turmoil in Tsu'tey's mind projected onto his face, he looked at the ground for a while before glancing at my mother, Neytiri and then me. Finally, he looked up at Jake, ready to deliver his answer.

"I will fly with you," he answer, relief darting across Jake's face before it was covered by sadness.

"Grace is dying." He said. "I beg for the help of the Great Mother."

"Bring her here." my mother answered.

I sat by myself, tears falling down my face, I was confused. I grieved for a sky person, one of the people that had taken so much from and yet I mourned Grace's passing. I heard footsteps behind me, too heavy to be Neytiri's.

I turned my head around to see Jake standing behind me. He sat down beside me, placing an arm around my shoulder. I felt like I should've moved it off of me, but I didn't.

"Can we talk?" he asked, concern in his voice as a looked at me.

"Sure," I said, I felt slightly numb after crying but I turned to face him anyway.

"I'm sorry," he admitted.

"You're sorry?" I questioned. "Your people took so much from me because of your actions and all you can see is sorry!" I yelled. "I understand that some of the things that happened before weren't your fault, like the tree of voices. But I lost my home, my father and so many of my people in one day because of your choices!"

A few tears began to roll down my face, more threatening to fall. He reached his hand out to wipe my tears away but I turned my face away, not wanting him to touch me.

"(Y/N)," he said, sadness infiltrating his voice. "I understand if you can't forgive me but I really am sorry. I didn't know what they would do with the information I give them, I swear."

I wanted to believe him, and I wanted to forgive him but something inside me stopped me. More tears fell from my eyes, staining my face. He tried to wipe away my tears again, this time I let him.

"I love you (Y/N)," Jake choked out, tears now pooling in the corner of his eyes, "and I see you."

I stared into his eyes and let myself get lost in them. He leaned towards me and pressed our lips together.

"I see you too," I whispered, "but we have a war to win."

He laughed a little under his breath. "I guess we do." He glanced down and looked at my leg. "Has anyone told you how cool your scar looks?"

"No, they haven't" I replied.

He stood up and offer me a hand, I took it and walked with him to his Toruk. War was about to begin.
