3rd Person pov

About a year ago, Y/N and Jake's lives were once again thrown into chaos. The sky people had returned, causing turmoil in the lives of everyone and everything on Pandora. The rainforests were quieter, the sky seemed darker, Eywa herself seemed to be hiding. A grim atmosphere seemed to have settled on the planet, creating a heavy and tense feeling that hung in the air.

Jake and some of the other Omaticaya had been conducting raids, cutting for supplies from the sky people while simultaniously arming themselves with more deadly weapons. On one of these raid, Jake, Y/N and Tsu'tey were out with other memebers of the tribe, with Y/N on lookout while the others gathered supplies. Out of seemingly nowhere, a flying machine that belonged to the sky people came into view.

"GO, GO!" Y/N shouted beckoning the oblivious na'vi to move out of the way.

Before anyone could react, an explosive came firing out of the machine, flying towards the tribepeople on the ground. As soon as it reach them, it exploded. Worry shook through Y/N's entire being but his anger was more previlent. He turned his attention towards the sky people, aiming his bow towards the thin glass barrier an letting an arrow fly, causing the machine to crash into the ground below.

Worry now took ahold on him, he flew down to the destruction below him, frantically searching for a familar face, preferrably a living one. He locked eyes with an anxious Jake and ran towards him, wrapping his arms around him. Jake placed a gentle kiss on his forehead and embraced him.

A realisation hit Y/N, he hadn't seen Tsu'tey. I let go of Jake and ran around through the rubble wildly, ignoring Jake's questions of what he was doing. Then he saw him, lying on the ground, beneath the rubble, a piece of sharpnel sticking out his chest. Y/N bent down next to him, with Jake soon following suit.

"Tsu'tey, stay with me, ok." Y/N pleaded. In truth, Y/N was never the biggest fan of Tsu'tey. But seeing how he had taking care a Neytiri, as well as Neteyam and little Tuk.

"Tell Neytiri and my children, that I love them." Tsu'tey said, growing weaker.

"You can tell her yourself." Y/N said, tears now falling slowly down his face, with more waiting to fall, "Tuk's still young, y-you have to be there for her."

"I-" was all Tsu-tey managed to utter before the light left his eyes. Tears now freely flowed down Y/N's face as Jake held him, letting him sob into his shoulder.

Y/N tried to find comfort in Jake's arms, like he normally did but he couldn't stop thinking about having to break this news to the rest of the clan, especially not Neytiri, she'd had enough tradegy in her life already, she didn't need more.

As if it happened in the blink of an eye, they back in the mountains, where the Omaticaya had begun living. As soon of their ikran landed, Y/N almost ran past everyone present to get to his family's tent. He just could bare to face his sister or her children, he could be the one to tell her that her mate had died.

He sat there, staring at the floor for what felt like hours until a pair of arms embraced him from behind, Kiri. Although he claimed to love both his children equally, Y/N prefered Kiri a little more - but he'd never tell anyone that.

"I'm sorry dad." She muttered. Y/N's hand reached up to touch hers.

"It's ok, my love." he replied, consoling both of her and himself at the same time.

The two of them talked for a while, before the exhaustion of the day caught up to Y/N. He lied down on his sleeping mat, closed his eyes and drifted off slowly, he thoughts still occassionly drifting to his sister and Tsu'tey.
