A/N: THANK YOU SM OF 1K READS! Just a quick one before the chapter, I'm only gonna write about the parts of the battle that I've changed as part of the fic, so they'll be quite a few time skips. Hope that is ok <3.

Jake climbed on his toruk as I mounted Urivu. He looked at me briefly.

"You don't have to ride on your ikran you know," he said, patting a space behind him on his toruk.

"I'm fine here, it'll be easier for us to gather the clans if we go separately," I replied. He nodded, giving me a smile before we departed to gather the clans.

I saw Jake sitting in front of the tree of souls, linked to one of the leaves. As I strolled closer, taking in the last moments of peace before the battle, I heard in talking to Eywa, asking her questions.

"Eywa doesn't take sides, Jake." I crouched down next to him and placed my hand on his shoulder.

He looked at me, worry spread across his face as he stared into my eyes. "I'm scared, (Y/N)," he admitted, "I'm scared I'm gonna lose you." Tears welled in the corners of his eyes, threatening to fall down his cheeks and stain his face.

I placed a hand on his face, stroking my thumb on his cheek at staring deep into his eyes. "I will be fine, we both will. And anyway, I might get a few more of those scars you find so hot."

A smile slowly crept across his face and I saw him fight back a life. "I wish that she would help, so much is at risk."

"I know Jake, if she wants to intervene, she will. We should get some sleep though, we'll need all the energy we need." I said, lying my head down on his shoulder and feeling my eyelids grow heavy as I dozed off.

I flew around the battlefield, firing arrows through the front window of the sky people's machines. I saw Tsu'tey swoop into the open ramp of the largest machine and I followed to support him. He shot an arrow at one of the sky people as I landed next to him and hit one of them with my father's bow.

I saw one of the sky people point a gun at Tsu'tey as I dived towards him, pushing him behind a crate as I felt a burning sensation in my shoulder.

I pressed my hand on my shoulder and felt blood trickle between my fingers.

"We have to go," I whispered to Tsu'tey. He looked at my wound and nodded, whistling for his ikran.

He grabbed me as we charged towards the outside, jumped and landed on his ikran.

I was lying on the ground in front of the tree of souls, cheers echoed around me. We won. My mother leaned over me, tending to my wound and Neytiri sat next to me, worry in her eyes. Tsu'tey was comforting unsuccessfully. My mind only focused only on Jake, he hadn't arrived yet, causing a pit to form in my stomach.

My mother finished dressing my arm and helped me sit up slowly. I heard a commotion to my left and saw Jake emerge from the tree line. I stood up and shoved through the crowd to reach him, embracing him. Tears fell down my face as I sobbed onto his shoulder.

I leant back and looked at his face, cut all over it. "What's happened? Are you ok? I was so worried."

"It's ok, (Y/N)," he whispered. "I have a question to ask. Would you let me become a na'vi permanently?"

"I-I, yes!" I blurted out, a smile creeping across my face.

= SMALL TIMESKIP =

Jake's eyes opened in his new body. He sat up and faced me, kissing me instinctively, making me flustered.

Jake was with me now, forever.
