After travelling through what seemed to be a desert, the gang had finally arrived at a city known as Trivitopolis.

"Finally. We're here." Cora said, relieved.

"Wow." Mairin awed.

"Trovitopolis City is the largest city ever on West Mandarin City." Tracey informed.

"A nice city to rest in." Misty said.

"And a good place for something to eat and supplies." Alain added.

"Let's go and get something to eat." Ash suggested as his stomach growled.

"You said it." Misty agreed.

CRACK!

"Huh?" Cora blinked.

Kilala noticed the ground, "ESPEON?! (YOU'RE KIDDING ME?!)" She exclaimed.

Before anyone could react, the ground gave way.

"Ahhhhhh!" The gang fell through the hole into the ground.

===========================

Underground, the gang expect for the Pokémon were unconscious.

"Ches. (Please wake up.)" Chespie shook Mairin's arm.

Mairin opened her eyes and smiled at her starter Pokémon, "Chespie?"

Chespie sighs in relief.

Pikachu shook Ash's arm, "Pika."

Ash opened his eyes and saw Pikachu, "Hey Pikachu."

"Pikachu!" Pikachu chirped.

"Misty, wake up!" Mairin gently shook Misty.

Misty slowly opened her eyes and turned to Mairin, "Are you...okay?"

Mairin smiled as Chespie and Jevin cheered.

Alain was starting to wake up as well, he grunted as he held his head, "What in the world was that?" He groaned.

"Espe. (Cora, wake up.)" Kilala shook her trainer's arm.

"Cora!" Alain gasped and pulled Cora onto his lap, "Wake up."

Cora groaned as she felt a slight headache pasting through, "Alain?" She got up slowly.

"Glad you're alright." Alain hugged his girlfriend in relief as well, "Don't asked what happen. Even we don't know." He said.

"Espeon." Kilala smiled at her trainer.

"Help! Get me out of here!" Tracey's muffled voice caught their attention.

They turned to see him halfway buried in big pile of dirt with only his legs sticking out.

"Don't worry Tracey, we'll get you out of here." Cora assured him.

Ash grabbed Tracey's right leg while Alain grabbed Tracey's left leg. They pulled until he finally popped out.

"I was really stuck in there. Thanks a lot." Tracey thanked them.

"You can thank me by getting off of me, Tracey." Ash said, annoyed with narrow eyes.

Tracey looked down and noticed that he was sitting on Ash's back.

"Oh, sorry about that." Tracey apologized with wide eyes.

Kilala and Chespie sighed.

"What's that up ahead?" Misty asked, looking ahead.

Tracey saw a tunnel in the cave, "Looks like a tunnel."

"Let's go." Alain said. "It's better than staying here."
