You turn around to see Saiki staring at you "Don't mind me" you told him, hoping he didn't see your brother.

He pointed at the door and you could hear your brother mumbling at the door "Lemme innnn, I have newsss"

Why is he even here??

You open the door and you see your brother "Long time no see," he started speaking in a fake smile, you hated that you couldn't read his mind either

"oh I see you didnt want me here because of a boy!"

oh of course he had to say that, he never changes

"no, it was because I don't want to see you" you spoke with a cold face.

Saiki noticed your expression change in a second.

"Oh but whyyy" Daichi now clinging on your arm.

"Because you act like a 4 year old and you left with mom for a reason." you push him off your arm and he walks in.

"Where is father anyways, wanted to say hello"

oh drop the act, what does he really want

"mhm mhm can you come by tomorrow? I have other stuff to deal with" you sigh, trying to appear nice.

"No"

"Why are you really here?" you ask forwardly, too tired to play any word games with him

"I would tell you but,"

Your brother turns you around while holding your shoulder and does a fake cough

"he is here. You know how our family is"

he smiles at Saiki.

Saiki just stands there, thinking if he should leave. "Okay, Daichi, we will talk about it later. leave" you push him out

"go explore or something, see ya in a few hours" you smile and wave goodbye as he waves back with a fake smile.

Even if I haven't seen him in years, I didn't have the urge to meet him.

The reason you are not really fond of your brother is because he tends to be manipulative and is extremely jealous of your abilities. The only thing he can do is teleport, but his high intelligence has let him explore the world. He might not seem evil, but his thoughts dream of getting your powers to himself. He even has an antenna to make you stop reading his mind! He obviously wants to find a way to steal your powers. He is too dumb to do it though, it is impossible to do so.

You turn back around and see Saiki staring again "Uhm sorry" you do a small bow. You sit on the couch and he does the same.

"Do you have any siblings?" you try to have a conversation.

"yes" Saiki responds.

"What is he like?"

"similar to yours"

"oh im sorry...wait that is not what I meant"

oh shit this sounds rude

He gave a tiny small and nodded, you felt a bit embarrassed. You put on some tv in the background and just dozed off until parents arrived, your brother talking with him.

you saw your brother carrying your favourite food and decided maybe you can live through this interaction. Everyone sat down while the parents were still talking, you and Saiki being quiet.
