The Sully Kids~

Y/Ns Pov:

9 Years later:

"Mother! im going out into the forest with the sully's!" i shouted to my mother across the tent, letting her know where im going for the day as to not make her pop a blood vessel.

"Before you go my child take this for later incase you get hungry" she spoke while wandering towards me, handing me some grubs and fruit wrapped in some banana leaves and put into my small woven bag sat across my side. "Dont forget to share with everyone, there is plenty. And dont wander to far! I see you, my sweet girl and may eywa protect you four in your exploring. and please, Y/n do not wander too far from the village."

As soon as walked out my tent i was met with a tackle to the ground followed by short giggles i could recognise from anywhere, it was my best friend, Lo'ak along with his older siblings kiri and neteyam.

"I totally scared you when i jumped on you! you should have seen your face bro!" he said while snorting at me. i lightly smacked his chest and greeted his other siblings with hugs. "so y/n where are you taking us now? eywa knows how much you love to explore" neteyam conversed as we began walking through the village only to discover a sort of secluded spot we havent seen before, which is rare considering they explored all the village. not going in the forest today as they didnt feel like it.

"Guys look at this cool bug! it kind of looks like lo'ak" i exclaimed, laughing along with neteyam and kiri as lo'ak scowls and hisses at me for basically calling him ugly.

after some time i wandered astray from the others and came across this beautifully lit up cave. while i was playing with the vines and plants that lit up to the touch, in the corner of my eye i saw something move, a spark lit in my core known as curiosity as i rounded the corner of the cave wall to discover a baby ikran.

i gasped and jumped back as it shrieked and hissed at me. the sully kids came running to discover their best friend was face to face with a predator who's naturally meant to kill.

I stood still unsure of what my next move was. The ikran moved its eyes all over me stopped when its saw the mark on my chest and back away slowly further until it hit the back wall and curled up into a ball. before you could react lo'ak gripped your arm and dragged you away before you could get seriously hurt.

"What were you thinking y/n! it could have eaten you or something i dont know!!" he shouted in worry as he checked to see if you did get hurt as he continued to drag you out towards your tent, next to his family tent.

"Jesus im fine you pansy, im fine stop picking at me like you're my mother" you joked around as he looked up putting a hand on his chest and fake gasping as he pretended to be hurt. "Y/n You wound me" he spoke trying so hard not to burst into fits of laughter.

3 hours later:
"Hey its nearly eclipse do you guys wanna watch by that cave we saw and look at the trees!" i spoke to the sully kids as we finished up our snacks my mother had given earlier.

"im sorry y/n/n but we have to go eat dinner with our parents but we can ask if we can tomorrow! dad said we need to have a discussion about the skypeople and how me and neteyam get to join in on raids soon" lo'ak said with a hint of sadness and annoyance in his voice due to him not being able to watch eclipse with his best friend.

"i understand guys i'll just watch by myself, i enjoy being alone sometimes" i smiled at them as they walked away.

i sat down on the ledge of the mountain watching eclipse, only to hear the russle of leaves and the crunch of sticks beneath someones feet making my ear twitch back in an almost cautious way, my tail swishing anxiously as i turn my head to be met with a boy from the village looking at me with such hatred.

"look at you, disgusting freak what are you doing in my spot im always here. I dont need it to be contaminated by your freaky 5 fingers and weird hair" he spoke while grabbing you half black half white intertwined braid making you hiss and try bite him with your sharp canines but missing by a couple inches.

"calm down half-breed" he starts up again "dont go all eywa on me please!" he fake begged acting scared and frightful.

if there was one thing you hated, it was people disrespecting your great mother and your birth mother after everything she has provided for them and now he had the audacity to make fun? something inside of you snapped.

"Do not talk about eywa that way skxawng, unless you want to get hurt" i spoke raising my voice in a threatening manner. "awww did i upset little princess y/n" he says in a mocking way pouting.

i couldnt take it anymore. i jumped on him and started clawing at him with my nails, hissing and baring my teeth as i punched him, something that jake sully had taught me and his kids.

people from the village started hearing the commotion and immediately started running towards the scowling, just as my mother arrived i got elbowed in the nose making it bleed and punched in the face cutting my lip up.

My mother ripped me away and started praying to eywa that she would not throw me from this very mountain for causing a fight. some other villagers took the young boy scolding him for being out this late.

I zoned out from the walk of shame through the village as i hear faintly someone calling my name. i look up to see lo'ak running towards me.

"you skxawng i thought you were just watching the eclipse" he said mocking your words from earlier.

he grabbed my chin forcing me to look up as he inspected my bleeding nose and cut up lip slowly dragging his thumb on it making me hiss in pain.

"stop moving idiot" he spoke softly as he noticed the scrapes and forming bruising on my knees  from me falling on them when i tackled the boy and and bruise on my stomach from when the boy got a hit in.

"lo'ak can you please take care of my stupid daughters wounds while i finish up dinner?" my mother asked politely.

"absolutely, i'll take her to Mo'at right away ma'am" Lo'ak said sweetly as he pushed me towards the healing tent.

jesus christ that took my like 3 hours to write cuz i kept getting distracted by the movie im watching
