Na'vi being spoken <3
Wei's Pov:
Me and my husband, Ue, The best hunter of our clan were travelling to the spirit tree to connect with our one and only great mother in hopes of an answer to keep the sky people and their horrendous weapons from destroying our beautiful land at bay.The closer we got jumping and manoeuvring our way through the rough terrain i feel my ear twitch and my tail swing in curiosity as i stop in my tracks, my husband noticing shortly after he heard my footsteps halt. i hear a faint sort of bawling in the distance, almost sounding like a distressed child.
my motherly instincts immediately kick in and as if my legs carry themselves towards the sound, Ue not far behind seeing as he too heard the faint cry after we stood for a couple seconds to listen out for any kinds of movement or sound of someone calling.
I soon come to find that the voice behind the sound is nothing other than a small Na'vi child with unique features sobbing under the glowing pink tendrils of our sacred space.
i waste no time to cradle the child in hopes of calming it down to further investigate my surroundings for any kind of mother or someone to care for this baby.
my husband chirps up at the sight of the baby, ear twitching in curiosity as we thought about what to do.
the childs short chubby arm reaches up and grabs the braids hanging out of my braided bun and grips it softly and giggles quietly. i couldnt help but softly smile as it reminded me of the memory of my first child, Rey'e.
"Should we bring it to Olo'eyktan?" questioned my husband, still staring wondrously at the baby in my arms. "If we do not, Ue it will surely not survive the night." I paused, thinking carefully about my words. "It seems Eywa has gifted us with this child. This is not just a coincidence Ue. I feel connected to her as if she were my own child."
All i received from that sentence was a slight nod before we took off into the trees, safely yet swiftly making my way to the village cradling the now peacefully napping child in my strong yet soft arms slowly rocking her as to ensure she continues the peaceful sleep, smiling ever so softly with blown pupils, feeling protective over her already.
As we arrive at the village i noticed a few odd stares to the chubby little cutie in my arms, some were stares of curiosity, some were disgust seeing as the child had 5 not 4 fingers and the white stripe of thin hair adorned on the babies scalp.
As we approach the Olo'eyktans tent, my daughter, Rey'e sprints up to us jumping in my mates arms.
"Mama! Papa! i missed you!" She spoke looking between us both. "We missed you too my sweet cherub" i said sweetly. as she was about to respond a fire lit in her eyes as she stared lovingly at the small infant in my arms.
Before my daughter could utter a word about the now peacefully waking na'vi in my arms, Our Olo'eyktan stepped out of his tent with his mate and 3 children.
"What is the meaning of all this commotion!" He shouted among the people to stop their seemingly endless whispers and muttering. He looks around Only for his eyes to stop at me and drift them down to the child in my grasp, cooing softly.
"Apologies for the noise, but their has been a sign from Eywa. We believe she is a gift for our people." i spoke in a low but loud tone for everyone to hear.
3rd person pov:
Jake came towards Wei and inspects the strange child. He grabs her hands noticing 5 fingers. his eyebrows furrow in confusion but continues looking at the small infant. he also takes note of the small patch of almost ghostly see through hair amongst the black. last but not least he removed the makeshift blanket off of her to reveal a glowing mark that reassembled none other than the spirit tree.
Jake finalises his inspection on the babbling baby to then spoke up directing his conversation to Wei "Please come step into my tent i would like to discuss this matter privately"
Wei quickly but quietly nodded and swiftly followed the sully family to their tent to discuss the topic of the strange child that was found merely thirty minutes ago.
