Chapter 4: Wake Up

"What do you mean" I asked as I saw her reaching for a sheet of music. . . . "Isn't that your moms song" I asked petrified. "Yes I know the chords for piano if I play and you sing maybe that yearning can go away" she said. "But I can't I haven't in months" I replied. "Please if anything do it for your mom and dad." Julie said.

"Alright let's do this give me the music" I said a little nervous and scared.

Luke's POV:

Me, Alex, and Reggie had poofed in near the studio when we had heard Julie and Y/n's voices coming from inside. We decided to listen in on them. They were talking about singing and playing the piano. But I couldn't help but wonder what Julie meant about telling Y/n to do it for her mom and dad. That made me start to wonder, but I didn't have time because Julie had started playing piano and it was beautiful. But nothing had me Alex and Reggie prepared for Y/n's amazing voice.

Y/n's POV:

I started singing the lyrics written on the paper it was flowing through me like before it all went down hill. "Here's the one thing, I want you to know you got some place to gOoO." I finally felt alive again as I sang it was truly and utterly beautiful. "Life's a test yes, but you go toe to toe. You don't give up no you grOoOw" I felt a big weight lift from my chest as I sang.

Luke's POV:

Me, Reggie and Alex were distraught as we heard Y/n sing. Not only was she the most beautiful person in the world but she just might be the best singer to. Omg did I really say that in my head. Whoops. . . . But I couldn't think anymore because Y/n's voice was taking me away.

Y/n's POV:

I didn't even realize I has finished my heart almost stopped as I heard applauding Julie must have heard it too because she looked worried and fearful as well.

Luke's POV:

We all knew the second the music stopped and when we started clapping that we were going to die.

Y/n's POV:

"You heard that to right" I asked Julie thinking that I had gone completely insane. "Yep I definitely heard it, Guys are you there" Julie called. "Dang it you caught us" Reggie said raising his hands. "Why didn't you tell us you could sing like that Y/n we knew Julie didn't play piano anymore because of her mom but why you?" Luke asked. "I gotta go" I didn't even realize the whole time I was singing I had tears in my eyes. I was not about to tell them what happened but I gave Julie a nod to explain to them what happened.
