Chapter 47: Willie

(A/n: We are back to Y/n's POV.)

I woke up to Luke's head tilted to the side. Almost as of he intended to rest it on his own shoulder. His lips were parted and a small snore was escaping his lips. His hands were resting in my hair as if he fell asleep mid play. I moved slowly positioning myself to a sitting position. Luke stirred slightly but didn't wake fully. He made some mumbling sounds I didn't understand. Then stayed quiet except for his peaceful snores.

I sat down right next to him wrapping my arms around him. Lightly kissing his cheek. I pulled away and held onto his hand intertwining our fingers ever so slowly so I didn't wake Luke. I sat there thinking about what would happen today. If the plan went according today would be their last day. By tonight they would be gone.

I had texted grandma and told her me and Julie were going to try and play at the Orpheum. She told grandpa and they both seemed proud. I didn't realize how much time had passed until I saw the sun rising. Julie woke up and immediately woke Alex and Reggie. Of course by screaming at them. Luke stirred again this time his eyes flashed open. He took in his surroundings before smiling. "Goodmorning" he said in his groggy morning voice.

"Goodmorning" I said happily. "Ok now that everyone is awake I think we should go over the plan again" Julie said. "No offense Jules but that plan is burnt into our brains" I said dramatically. "Ok, ok, fine" she said giggling slightly at my tone. "Hey what time is it?" I asked. "Oh it's 10am" Julie said checking her watch. "Willie should be almost done. Boys get ready to go mess things up the right way" I said standing up. My hand was still firmly placed in Luke's so he stood up as well stretching.

Julie went in the house and got me and her breakfast. It was Ray's famous pancakes bacon and eggs. As we ate the boys devised their own plan in the corner. After a bit of time waiting we all started to get apprehensive he hadn't come yet. "Hey, don't worry guys. Willie said he'd get us on that marquee" Alex said reassuringly.

"This is gonna work right?" Reggie asked looking around at all the worried faces in the room. "It has to" Luke said looking at the ground for reassurance. One of those powerful jolts shot through them sending them to fall on the closet thing to them. Since I was standing right next to Luke he fell me for support. I hastily balanced him and didn't let go of his back until he let himself go. Just then I heard a pop and saw Willie who looked at Alex and Reggie still dazed by the jolt.

"Hey are you guys okay?" He asked stepping a few steps closer. "Ya" Reggie said not looking so sure. "Ya, it's nothing we haven't felt before" Alex added coldly towards Willie, but a sense of longing in his tone as well. "How'd it go?" I asked apprehensivelly. "Well when the opening band wakes up their gonna find their bus 200 miles outside of Vegas. With nl chance at gettingback in time." Willie said giggling. I smiled taking in the good news as it came to me.

"And that means there's probably a promoter upstairs right about now freaking out." Luke said a devilish grin on his face. "Nah, this is Hollywood man I'm sure he's being very professional." Alex said smiling at his words knowing the exact opposite happens in Hollywood.

"I know how much you're risking. Thank you, Willie" Alex said looking at him lovingly. Willie looked up a smile grew on his face he had the exact same look in his eyes as Alex. Love. "I told you, I'd do anything for you" Alex had tears building up in his eyes, but he tried his best to hide them. "Alright, you, uh-you-you'd better get out of here. Before Caleb catches you with us" he said looking away from him. "Ya. . . I'll see you around hot dog" he said waving to him for possibly the last time.

Alex chuckled hearing him say his little pet name Willie had made. After Willie disappeared Alex stopped smiling his happy look replaced with one of sadness. "Alex, you alright man?" Luke asked patting him on the back. "Ya. Ya I'm okay" he said unreassuringly. "Well thanks to Willie, Panic! At The Disco needs an opening band" Reggie said cautiously looking at Alex when using Willie's name. 'Then, I guess someone up there needs to know we're available" Luke said grinning at me, Julie, Alex, and Reggie.

(A/n: Guess who's back. . . . . Back again. . . Grace is back tell a friend. Hiiii omg I am so sorry for keeping yall waiting for like what 2 months?!? Crazy and so very rude of me. The reason I stopped was mainly because school was starting up again and like finding free time where I'm not either doing school work or reading books I enjoy was hard so I just didn't. Also at like the middle of August I went to the ER so they could make sure I had enough blood and that drained me. But I'm back hopefully for longer now. I am indeed on our new fall break so maybe more chapters this week. I also might do one in my other story. But I'm really trying to finish this one. Anyway. Have a good day, night, morning, afternoon, midnight, twilight, sunrise, sunset, and any others that are out there. God it feels nice to say that again lol.)
