As the words left her lips, Jade couldn't help but wonder how she knew about the glass and its effects. It was as if a fragment of a distant memory had resurfaced, providing her with this peculiar insight. She pondered the source of this newfound knowledge, but the answer remained elusive. The man's glare intensified; his curiosity piqued by Jade's enigmatic statement. However, instead of pressing further, he decided to retreat, walking away with a mix of confusion and frustration etched on his face.

Jade watched him disappear into the crowd, the encounter leaving her with an odd sense of both accomplishment and bewilderment.

However, not before she saw a boy with them with a scar on his forehead. 'If I ever meet him again, I'm asking him how he got it.'

As she turned to the viper, the snake's bright golden eyes suddenly opened. The mesmerizing sight caught Jade off guard, causing her to pause for a moment. Slowly, almost as if in a trance, the snake lifted its head until its eyes were level with Jade's. Caught in a moment of curiosity, Jade stared back at the snake, her confusion evident in her expression. Unsure of what to make of the situation, she quickly glanced around to see if anyone else witnessed this peculiar interaction.

To her relief, there was no one in sight. It was just her and the enigmatic snake. With a mix of intrigue and amusement, Jade decided to play along and communicate with the snake. She focused her attention solely on the serpent before her and, without hesitation, winked back at it. In that brief exchange, a silent understanding seemed to pass between them, as if they shared a secret language known only to them. Although the encounter left Jade with more questions than answers, she couldn't help but feel a sense of connection with the mysterious creature.

It was a moment that reminded her of the hidden wonders and unexpected surprises in the world if one simply took the time to observe and engage. The snake jerked its head toward the fat man and round boy who had just tapped on the glass. It then raised its eyes to the ceiling.

It gave Jade a look that said, 'I get that all the time.'

"I know," Jade murmured through the glass, though she wasn't sure the snake could hear her or understand what she'd said to it. "It must be annoying."

The snake nodded vigorously. Soon Jade heard a deafening shout from behind her that made both of them jump.

"DUDLEY! MR. DURSLEY! LOOK AT THIS SNAKE! YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT IT'S DOING!" Someone yelled as the fat boy she now assumed was Dudley waddled toward them as fast as he could.

"Out of the way, stupid girl!" he said, pushing Jade hard to the floor.

Jade's intense gaze pierced the air, filled with anger and frustration, as she directed her glare toward Dudley's back. His rude behavior had pushed her to the edge, and she was ready to unleash her fury upon him. However, something unexpected happened, causing her to freeze in her tracks. In a split second, an event unfolded that left everyone in disbelief. It was so swift and enigmatic that no one could comprehend what had happened. At first, the boy, a thin figure with straight black hair, leaned towards the glass with Dudley by his side. But in the blink of an eye, both boys recoiled back, uttering howls of horror that echoed through the room.

Jade, captivated by the unexpected turn of events, sat up, a smirk appearing on her face. Her initial anger dissipated, replaced by curiosity and amusement. The sudden disappearance of the boa constrictor's tank glass caught Jade by surprise. In a matter of seconds, the massive snake uncoiled itself rapidly, slithering out onto the floor. Chaos ensued in the reptile house as people screamed and rushed towards the exit in a frenzy. Jade found herself frozen in awe as the colossal snake glided past her.
