***For those of you who have not read my other stories, Aiko is an important character that plays a part in all three of my MHA fanfics XD. The other half of Bakugou's story from this chapter will be told in Fire & Ice.***
You step off the bus looking at the station. It had been a year since you'd been back in Esuha City. Despite the risk, you'd explained to principal Nezu that you would come back. You wouldn't hide away from your home forever. And seeing your parents on this day was important to you. You pull your hood on sticking close to Katsuki. You take a deep breath holding Katsuki's hand tightly. You make it up to the gates of the cemetery and look in sadly. Small tears drip down your face as you stand in place.
"You okay?"
"Yeah."
You look at him smiling softly.
"I've got you here after all."
He looks away glaring at the tree next to him as his cheeks get flushed. He follows you through the cemetery quietly. You see the shrine in the distance, there was someone else there. Maybe one of your parent's coworkers. They seemed really sad when they first got the news. Constantly coming over to give you food and offer you a place to stay. You approach curiously as the stranger looks over her shoulder at you. It was a young girl with beautiful black hair that faded white at the tips; it reached the middle of her back. She was wearing shredded black jeans with chains hanging from the belt loops and a thick black leather jacket. She had a scar on the left side of her face. Her soft gray eyes widen slightly as she looks at the both of you approaching. You give her a curious look, she didn't seem to know who you were. You speak up wanting the awkward stare-down to be over with already.
"Hello."
"Um, hey."
Her voice was soft and seemed to be filled with caution.
"Are you a friend of my parents?"
Her face almost seems to flash with agony as she looks at you.
"They had a daughter?"
"Yes, my name is L/N Y/N."
She smiles softly as she steps away from the shrine. She'd brought a single white rose and placed it on the shrine.
"I didn't know them well, but they seemed like good people. They didn't deserve to be taken away from this world. I'm so, sorry."
Katsuki narrows his eyes and pulls you back behind him. He speaks to the girl with a dangerous tone.
"Who are you?"
She cocks her head to the side and smirks.
"You seem well Bakugou, Katsuki."
"How the hell do you know my name?!"
"You're the kid who won the Sports festival. And the kid who was kidnapped by the League of Villains. Believe it or not, you're kinda famous."
He growls deeply as he takes a step forward.
"You didn't answer my question."
"I'm just a passerby giving my sympathies to a few people who were taken away from this world."
Her eyes move back to you, sadness swimming in her eyes as she whispers.
"And their daughter."
She shoves her hands in her pockets and slinks away, disappearing into the distance. Katsuki doesn't take his eyes off her until she was out of sight. He looks back at you darkly.
"I feel like I've met her before, but I don't know where."
You furrow your brow curiously having the same feeling. Your eyes widen as you start running past the grave.
"Wait y/n!"
"It's her! She's the one I saw with Dabi when the intruder go into U-A! She's part of the League!"
Katsuki grabs your arm stopping you.
"So running after a dangerous criminal is your best idea! Don't be a dumbass and think for a minute! Besides I don't think she's with the Leauge."
"What do you mean?"
He glares at the path, gritting his teeth.
"I think she's the one who tried to free me when I was kidnapped."
"What?"
"There was this girl who showed up. It was pretty clear she wasn't a part of their organization, but she seemed to know Shigaraki."
"So she's just some good samaritan who spends her free time hanging out with Leauge members!?"
"Do I look like I know any more than you do!"
"We need to find her."
"No, I have a feeling she's dangerous. We'll go to the police and the hero agency."
You scoff and storm away from him back to your parents.
You smile sadly and sit down in front of the shrine.
"Hey, sorry it took me so long to come to see you guys. Life got pretty crazy since I last visited. I ended up going to U-A. I know you'd be so happy if you could see me now mom. I named my ultimate move after you, it's a really cool move."
Katsuki leans on a tree next to the shrine watching out in case that girl came back. He listened to you talk with your parents, you seemed really happy even though you were talking to a rock. He didn't really get it, but then again he wasn't in your position. He scans the graveyard again before looking back at you.
"And this is Katsuki, he's a jerk but I love him. I wish you could meet him, mom, I know you'd love him. And I know you'd be hard on him dad. I brought him here so he could, we I guess see you guys."
You start to choke up struggling to hold back the tears.
"I know you're gone and I'll never hear your laughs again, and I'll never see your faces again. But I want you to know if you can hear me. I'm not alone anymore, I have really good friends and I've got Katsuki. So you don't have to worry about me anymore, I'm going to be okay."
You take shaky breaths as you wipe the tears off your cheeks. You pull out the box and leave it on the shrine. You stand up and kiss the top of the stone.
"I miss you guys so much. I'll never forget either of you or what you gave me while you were here."
You stand up, step back and take a deep breath. Kastuki stands up walks over to the gravestone and puts a small wildflower on the grave.
"I'll take care of her, I'll do it better than either of you ever could."
***Straight up got teary-eyed writing that last scene. Ooof that hit harder than it needed too ><."
