After dinner, you helped Mitsuki clean up the kitchen. The second hand on the clock ticking closer and closer to telling you it was time to leave. For the first time in a long time, you were somewhere you wanted to be. Just like with U-A, you find yourself surrounded by people who smile at you. People who aren't looking down on you, blaming you, hating you. It was a feeling you had nearly forgotten. Yet that feeling sent you down the rabbit hole of what if. Just like when you finally allowed yourself to love Katsuki. All the good things that happen just feel like a setup from the universe. Ever since you were a child it had always been that way. Good things lead to bad things, lead to pain, and loneliness.

Katsuki walks up behind you immediately noticing your mood change. He lets out a soft sigh and moves closer wrapping his arms around you. You squeak quietly realizing you had checked out of reality again. Katsuki's deep voice reminds you where you were.

"Pretty sure that's been clean for like ten minutes."

You chew the inside of your cheek as you rinse off the plate and put it on the drying rack. You turn around looking up into Katsuki's eyes. He flashes a small almost invisible smile before letting you go.

"We have to go."

"Huh? We still have a few hours before we have to be back."

Katsuki smirks at you as he leans against the counter.

"I want to take you out."

You cough, choking on the water you were trying to drink. He pants your head before walking out to the living room.

Mitsuki smiles at you as you open the front door and step out. The afternoon rays of light warm your skin. You look at Mitsuki, puffing your chest slightly.

"I'll look after him, and I'll do it better than either of you could."

Mitsuki laughs softly as Katsuki looks irritatedly. Mitsuki laughs lightly as she waves goodbye.

"I'd expect no less."

You smile softly as you turn around and catch up to Katsuki. Who was slinking down the walkway quietly. You snicker at him as he ignores your presence beside him.

Katsuki leads you to a small downtown section adjacent to the bus station. It was a traditional Japanese place with lots of lanterns lighting up the walkways. You smile as you walk beside Katsuki exploring the shops with your eyes. Katsuki side-eyes you, a small smile forming on his face. You catch it out of the corner of your eye causing you to smile back.

"Hey, Katsuki?"

"Hm?"

"Thank you, for this weekend."

"Don't thank me, as if I'd do any less."

You smirk at his remark as you wander down the street. All the sounds of the buzzing crowd, the smells of fresh baked foods, and the bright colors fill your scenes. However maybe it was because Katsuki was next to you, but it didn't fill you with anxiety. You weren't paranoid about being here, around so many people. As if the world and everyone in it melted away. It was such a freeing feeling you'd long forgotten.

You end up leading Katsuki into a small trinket shop at the end of the street. You were hoping to find something for Katsuki and Denki. Of course, there was also Mina and Kiri, and you didn't have money for everyone. You let out a soft sigh as you explore the shelves of small keychains, figures, and snow globes. Nothing catches your eye for Katsuki but you managed to find a few things for the others. No this won't do, he'd be irritated if I didn't get him anything. As you stare at the trinkets irritably an arm wraps around you. You knew instantly it wasn't Katsuki; so who the hell just touched you? You whip your head to the side quickly meeting their eyes. That was when it happened, all the good led to bad. The bubbly feeling fades to horror as you look into this person's eyes. The only eyes you hoped to never see again. The eyes of the person who destroyed your life. You open your mouth to snap at them but they shake their head softly. Their cold gentle voice filled you with disgust as they spoke quietly.

"Make a scene and your friend will be dead before you can blink."

Katsuki, he was talking about Katsuki. Was he threatening him, because of me? You look up at them pleadingly.

"He has nothing to do with this. You leave him out of this."

Your voice was firm but it was laced with fear. A sickeningly evil smile crawls over their face as they catch on to your panic. They flash a phone screen in front of your face. You squint your eyes noticing it was Katsuki, who was on the other side of the store by the windows. He was sighted in with a scope. Your stomach drops as your breathing gets more erratic. Shit, I have to do something. He's in danger, what can I do?

"Good girl, now come with me."

Your mind flashes with a thousand different possibilities as they slowly pull you to the back of the store. You don't fight them, if they think you're complacent it'll give you more time to think.

"Do you know why I found you?"

"You're a fucking freak obsessed with things no one can change."

He lets out a softly sinister laugh as he leads you through the side door to the alley.

"It's because you were careless y/n."

"Don't you say my fucking name! You have no right to even look at me!"

"Careful y/n if I give the word that boy will be another tragedy on the mighty U-A's record. How much are you going to destroy others' lives? How much are you going to be a menace to everyone's existence? Why don't I help you join your pathetic parents?"

"Did you kill them!?"

"I wish I had, but alas I was beaten to the punch."

You grit your teeth and clench your jaw. You could fight him, he just doesn't know that. However, you need to figure out how to do this without your quirk. You were lucky the first time, pretty much granted a miracle. And you were definitely not going to push your luck.

"What do you want? The business went under when my parents died."

"Oh, but I know you got all that money."

"I can't touch it till I'm eighteen."

"That's why you're going to sign it over to me."

"The hell I am, fuck you asshole!"

They grit their teeth and grab your throat pinning you to the wall. You instinctively activate your quirk, however, it doesn't seem to affect them. They throw their head back laughing coldly.

"I learned from our last little encounter how to counter your quirk. Now sign the paper or I'll kill your friend."

Your vision starts to blur as you hang on the wall trying desperately to get free. You hear someone yelling as you fall to the ground coughing. Your vision slowly goes out as your body settles on the filthy concrete.
