Chapter Thirty-four: When snow falls

***I changed some from the video because it would make more sense if the Baku squad were involved for the story's sake. However, I could not pass up Midoryia and Bakugou having to work together. I suppose this is me trying to have my cake and eat it too lol XD.***

You look at Midoriya and Katsuki as they start bickering over what to do. Listening to their conflicting ideas was giving you a headache. You pinch the bridge of your nose letting out a slow sigh. Kyoka walks over quietly standing beside you.

"You think we have a chance?"

You scoff quietly, trailing your eyes over the fresh snow, twinkling softly in the sun.

"I asked Midoryia to join, to even out our numbers, not so I would get stuck babysitting."

"Who the hell do you think you're babysitting!?"

Katsuki snaps at you as he turns away from Midoryia.

"You're fragile ego."

"WHY YOU-."

"Kachan this isn't helping any."

"Shut up you damn nerd."

"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!"

They both look over at you, stunned by your sudden change of tone.

"Midoriya is good at strategies, if you spent all that time watching him, you'd think someone as smart as you would have picked up something so obvious. So for once in your stubborn life stop talking and listen. I don't know if you've realized this but the other team is miles ahead of us."

You narrow your eyes at Katsuki, a playful smirk crawling over your lips.

"And I'll be damned if I lose to my best friend."

Katsuki snickers softly as he crosses his arms.

"Alright, you might have a point."

"Of course I do."

You look over to Midoryia, huddled in the pile of snow Katsuki threw at him. He'd created a small igloo; talk about turning a bad situation into a good one. Midoryia waves the three of you inside.

"Okay, here's what I think we should do. Y/N should go after Ashido, they won't see it coming since Karminari is on their team. Kachan will sneak around and try to get in a shot at Sero."

"Don't tell me what to do!"

You cock your head at Midoryia curiously, his strategy seems off.

"Why have Katsuki go after Sero?"

"If we flip a switch on all our personalities and tactics we have a pretty good chance of winning."

"Let's just kill them all."

"They'll have planned for that. They'll have a plan for every way they know we fight and who we'd go after. So if we target people who aren't on our radar, and in ways we don't fight this will work."

You smirk at Katsuki as Midoryia explains the plan. He could reject it as much as he wanted, but he knew as well as you did that Midoryia was a smart one. Katsuki narrows his eyes at you slowly as your smile only grows.

"What if we dangle this plan in their faces."

You speak up, turning your gaze on Midoriya.

"Then hit them with all we have. If they think we are running a different strat, they'll scramble."

"They could regroup easily since they'd have a plan."

You huff out quietly, annoyed that you didn't get to go after Denki.
