At the Hashira meeting:

"Welcome, my children..." Oyakata-sama began gravely, "As you all know, Tomioka Giyu is now deceased."

All the Hashiras bowed their heads silently.

Ever since the crows had made their ways to tell the pillars, each one had learned of it differently.

Rengoku was devasted and cried a lot. He also visited Giyu's grave.

Gyomei cried and prayed for his wellbeing in the afterlife.

Sanemi and Iguro couldn't accept it.

Mitsuri was also devasted and joined Rengoku at his grave.

Tengen left a flower on his grave. 

Muichiro got dragged to his grave by Rengoku since he couldn't remember where it was.

Shigeru left the Hashiras shortly following his death, his mission uncompleted but he received the money anyway. He didn't feel very good about it and felt guilty for just sitting there while Giyu died. He ended up visiting his grave once.

Shinobu locked herself in her office and didn't come out at all, except for the meeting which was compulsory attendance. She didn't eat her meals and spent her time crying, mourning or making new poisons.

Urodaki also received a letter informing him about Giyu's death. He visited his grave and mourned his succesful student.

The Kamaboko Squad also received a letter and Tanjiro dragged them to Giyu's grave. Zenitsu got really scared that a Hashira died and Inosuke, realising this situation was serious, placed a few acorns on his grave. Tanjiro cried for days and kept thanking Giyu for giving him and Nezuko a chance.

After it was discovered that Shigeru had faked an injury and also faked his fighting skills, and also faked his Hashira position, he was punished. Oyakata-sama also received a lot of angry glares from the Hashiras for letting Shigeru pretend to be a pillar.

Shinobu wasn't punished for leaving Giyu, since she came back and tried her best. Even though she caused Giyu's death, she couldn't be punished for something out of chance. She ended up punishing herself.

A/N: This pretty much concludes the main plot. However, there will be more chapters following about Naomi's lore, Giyu's afterlife experiences and a concluding chapter. I know a lot of you are disappointed with the ending but I wanted to make a story without a happy ending, since it reflects how Shinobu died in the manga.
