Never Really Over

Chapter 20

Ben's pov

I had to walk away from mason. After throwing a punch and it connecting, I felt bad.

He was my mate but I also wasn't a fool.

I know something is going on with him and Liv but they both are just denying it.

"Are you okay?" Kepa asked as I entered the changing room.

"Yeah I'll be fine. Thanks mate" I answered, sitting down.

Mason entered a few seconds after Kai and sat over the other side beside pulisic.

"What's happened between two both?" Tammy had asked as he sat next to me.

"Just a minor disagreement"

Tammy nodded then headed towards the shower.

The changing room door opened and in came Tuchel, face like thunder.

"Mason and Ben, can I speak to you both outside"

We got up and followed him out, everyone else but Kai staring after us in bewilderment.

"Care to explain what happened out on the pitch?" Tuchel asked.

"Nothing boss" I answered. " Just a slight disagreement"

"Really? Care to tell me why some of the coaching staff witnessed you both throwing punches at each other"

"It got a bit out of hand" mase spoke. "We're sorry boss"

"Yeah sorry boss" I added.

"Your both lucky that the fans had left the stadium and it was only friends and family of the team that was left" Tuchel shook his head. "Not that makes a difference. Your teammate's family having to witness you both acting like children"

" I".. I was about to apologize once again but tuchel held his hand up.

"I need to think but I'm afraid it may end in the pair of you missing the next game as a lesson not to behave like that"

Mase and I nodded.

"Go get changed and I'll see you both in the morning for training"

"I'm sorry" I turned to mason. "I just got a little bit annoyed"

"It's okay" he shrugged. "I'm sorry too'

We shared a brotherly hug before heading back into the changing room.

As I finished getting changed. I knew I had to go see Olivia. Little did I know mase was thinking the same thing.
