Never Really Over

Chapter 11

Olivia's pov
*1 month later*

"Do you want to come to the training ground?" Sasha asked me as she packed up the rest of her things.

We had just finished a photo shoot together for a new pretty little thing range.

"I don't know..." I trailed off.

I hadn't seen or really heard from any of the boys apart from Jack since the night we had a few weeks ago. Everyone had just got busy; the boys with the training for England then back to their premier League clubs. And Sasha and I with photo shoots, Instagram posts for numerous brands.

"Please come?" She turned around and faced me. "I have to go pick up Jack and he was talking about you coming round for dinner"

Did I really want to go and risk seeing Ben or laying eyes on Mason? The boys were back to train with England for another game that was coming up which mean I'd see them both

"Okay fine" I gave in. "I guess it'll be good to see Jack.

Sasha smiled and we continued to fix the rest of our things.

We arrived at at George's park and headed inside.

"Hello girls" Gareth Southgate spoke as we passed him in the corridor.

"Hi" Sasha and I replied.

"The boys are still outside training. I've just nipped in to grab something before they finish. Your welcome to go wait outside. At least it's not cold this time" he chuckled.

"Thanks Gareth" Sasha and I answered again before heading down the tunnel that lead to the training pitch.

We went and stood on the sideline where jack noticed us straight away and gave a wave.

"I can see Ben and Mason looking your way" Sasha spoke quietly.

"I've seen them too" I replied."I have no idea what to say to any of them if they come over"

Sasha laughed. "I'm sure you'll think of something.

"And that is the end of today's training. Well done boys" Gareth had appeared at the side of us"

Everyone began to make their way down the tunnel whilst Jack jogged over to us.

"Hello sis" he smiled after he kissed Sasha on the cheek.

"Hello bro" I smiled back. "How was training?"

"Good. I've got a good feeling we'll win the upcoming game"

"I'm sure you will..." I trailed off.

I could see both Ben and Mason hanging back, waiting to speak I guess?

"I'm going to get changed. Meet you back here or the car?" Jack asked.

"We'll get you at the car?" Sasha turned to me and I nodded.

Once jack left I could see Ben trying to decide whether to come over or leave it.

But mason jogged over first.

"Hey Liv" he smiled brightly, quickly wrapping me in a hug.

Which took me by surprise.

"Hey Mason" i replied, returning his hug.

"I'm going to head to the car" Sasha spoke.

"Okay"

"It's been ages since I've seen you" mason spoke. "How have you been?"

"I've been good" I smiled back. "Just been busy with work. How about you?"

I looked over his shoulder to see Ben heading towards the tunnel looking a bit downhearted.

He didn't even look over... Was he annoyed because mason spoke to me first?

"Yeah I'm good. Just busy with training for Chelsea"

"I'll let you go and get changed" I smiled at him.

"Yeah... Before you go... He trailed off, nervously running a hand through his hair.

I stood facing him silently, waiting for him to continue.

"Are you doing anything tonight?"

"No" I replied.

"Do you want to go out for dinner?" He smiled at me.

"Yeah. I'd love too" i smiled back at him.

"Great. I'll pick you up at 8?"

"Okay"

He hugged me again before jogging down the tunnel in front of me as I made my way to get Sasha.

Did I just agree to go on a date with Mason tonight?

Or was i reading in to it too much?
