Barry wasn't Abel to get her out of his head, Caitlin Snow. She had been driving him crazy without even knowing. Barry Allen was hopelessly in love with her. He could never develop the courage to ask her even though no other woman could replace her in his heart. 

Barry was working at CCPD when a surprising visitor showed up. "hey" her soft melodic voiced echoed through the lab.

"Hey" Barry said shocked, having his safety glasses glasses on. Realising that he looked stupid just staring at her with this stupid safety goggles her took them off. "What are you doing here?" he said and realised that he might have come off rude which was the last thing he wanted. "Not that I don't want you here, I'm just surprised because you never really come down here, and I'm rambling" he concluded and she smiled shaking her head 

"Barry Allen, you are such a dork, never stop being one" She said and placed a hand on his shoulder. It didn't matter if she meant it in the most friendly way, her touch sent shivers down his arm and those words were going to be his motto to live by for the rest of his life. "Anyway" she said moving her hand off his forearm "I wanted to swing by so we could grab some lunch, no one is at the labs, and truth be told I felt a bit lonely" Caitlin said

"Where's Cisco?" Barry asked

"He is gone on a surprise vacation with his girlfriend" Caitlin said

"He and Kamilla are really going g strong aren't they" Barry said being a bit envious of what they have

"They do" Caitlin said with the same fondness in her voice "Now come on, where do you want to go for lunch?"

"Up to you" he said a smile over took his face

"You know the whole point of me asking is for you to choose right?" Caitlin said

"Well I don't really mind and was going to have a power bar for lunch" Barry said "But now I do know where I want to take you" he said, his smile growing wider.

"Do I know this place?" Caitlin asked getting suspicious with the hint of mischief in his eyes. 

"Maybe" Barry said and checked outside to see if anyone was coming. He quickly stopped all of the test he had running in his lab and picked Caitlin up bridal style. "Ready?" he said and she shook her head suspicious. Barry then supersede them somewhere and Caitlin just held on to him tightly. 

When they arrived in a small street nearby, before she could ask any question he took her hand and led her too the front of the restaurant. It was small and had a wooden sign at the top which read 'SES AMO Pizza & Cucina', under it through the windows you could see people chattering and laughing. "Barry, where are we?" Caitlin asked since she didn't notice any of the street names and none of the sounding looked familiar to her.

"Rome, Italy" he said like it was the most natural thing ever

"What?!" she said shocked, now it was her turn to be surprised "Barry you can't just run off to Italy when you feel like people might need our help" she said

"Which is why Joe will use the signal if something is wrong and plus I don't do this very often. Only a few times a year at most" Barry said and noticed she was still unsure about being here, since she was bitting her lower lip. "If you're really worried abutting being here we can go back" he said and she put thought into the words that came out of her mouth next.

"No, lets go, plus when do you get the chance to go to Paris for free" she said and he laughed "Wait, I'll be back in one sec, I need to get some Italian money" he then sped away and came back.

"You didn't just rob an ATM did you?" she question and he smiled at her goofy response

"Went back to exchange it" he said "Shall we?" she then nodded and being a gentlemen he opened the door for her.

"We shall" she said and then thanked him for opening the door. The restaurant wasn't too busy so they were easily able to find a table. They ordered so much food the waiter must've thought that they had been starved for months. "Did you see his face" Caitlin said once their waiter had walked away

"I love doing that, it never gets old" Barry said

"So, I feel like I haven't seen you in ages, why are you at Star Labs less?" she asked because she had been missing his presence in Star Labs, especially today when no one else was there except her. 

"I've just been swamped at CCPD" Barry answered 

"Lets catch up" Caitlin said excitedly which made him excited as well "so what's gong on with you, other than work?"

"Nothing much" Barry said

"What about in the love region, meet any nice girls?" Caitlin asked and Barry shook his head. He hadn't met any nice girls, he'd been hung up on the one sitting across from him. Barry noticed the small smile that appeared on her face.

"Cait" he said suspiciously

"Hmm" she said answering him when her eyes were stuck on the food that landed on their table.

"What was that?" he said in the same tone

"The pizza" She said in a food coma for pizza

"I mean the smile" Barry said

"What smile?" Caitlin grabbed Alice of the pizza and was bout to put it in hot mouth when Barry reach across the table and light grabbed her wrist. 

"The smile you had when I told you that there wasn't anyone I was interested" Barry said. Maybe he was seeing things.

"I um sorta love you" Caitlin said and Barry let go of her wrist in shock, this was everything he wanted to hear, it was cute the way she blushed and how she could't even look at him.

"Cait" he was about to tell her but she cut him off

"Look I know you don't feel the same way so we'll eat in silence, go back to Star Labs and we'll figure things out from there" Caitlin said and she could see he was about to speak again "got it?" she raised her voice slightly. Barry just nodded. Thats what they did, ate their pizza in silence, Barry paid for the meal and they were outside.

"Can I talk now?" Barry asked

"yeah" Caitlin said

"I love you too" Barry said and she looked up at him very shocked

"W-what?" Caitlin asked and he took a step forward toward her so there wasn't much of a gap between the two of them.

"I love you too" Barry said both of them smiling before closing the gap with their lips connected in a kiss of love and warmth.

"You love me?" Caitlin said once the kiss ended

"So much my love" he joked and she laughed and both their phone started t buzz.

"Joe" Barry said and ran them both back to Central City.
