Barry's POV:

I just woke up and everything still feels dull because she isn't here. I  I sigh and look up at the ceiling once more. God I miss her, I grab my phone and I got text messages from her, Caitlin Snow, the love of my life, I really wish I dint screw that up. He sees the few text messages from her and his hearts explodes. He has no clue what to say so she ends up texting 'okay so that's how it's gonna be.' Sighing I fall back onto my bed. How did I fail texting her? That would be a problem for another day. I decide to get ready for work instead and left for CCPD. 

I got to CCPD and worked the crime scenes and evidence that was given to me. thank god it was a fast day because it's takes my mind out of my thoughts. Joe then walks in and said "Hey"

"Hey" I said not looking up form my computer

"Everything alright?"he asked

"Yeah" I said "why?"

"Nothing, I suppose nothing with Caitlin" Joe said and I tensed up at the mention of her name. Dint he knew. "You still love her?" Joe asked

"Of course I still love her" I said

"Then why a re you dating Patty?" Joe asked

"I thought she would help me move on" I said

"You can't keep stringing her along you know" Joe said and I nodded "Look take a quick break and think about it"  I nodded once again and lean back in my chair. I git out my phone and clicked on the folder titled Caitlin. It was just photos of us. We looked great together, we looked happy, I was happy. I then went to her instagram and saw her with some other guy. She was kissing his cheek and the description said 'your amazing and I am so lucky to call you my boyfriend.' 

Looks like she found the one she's been looking for 

I wish I knew it wasn't me

U heard the song in the background form somewhere and it sounds like my situation. When the clock finally hit 7 I was ecstatic to finally get out of the lab. Luckily I am going to a party tonight I need to get wasted.

I got there to the pub and saw my mate already there. "Barry Allen always late" Oliver said and I chuckled at his remark.

"Very funny" I joked and sat down next to Patty. The whole enight I was laughing with everyone and it turns out that they did Karaoke so we all took turns and we were glad that there were;t that may people so we were happy to embarrass ourselves, well besides from me. We were all outside saying goodbye when Patty came to me and I slung my arm around her shoulder.

"Bye Barry" She said and kissed me. I kissed back but there was no spark, not the spark I felt with Cait.

"Bye Patty" I said and she smiled before catching up with Felicity who was taking her home. I took the train back to my place and scrolled through photos and videos of Cait again. There was one where I had my arms wrapped around her from behind, another where there was a cute filter on her face but I didn't;t work on me because I was kissing her cheek, there was a video of her talking about science and then she felt embarrassed and asked me to stop videoing. One of my favourites is when we were just looking at each other with big goofy smiles on our faces, it was just us, nothing else mattered. I am sure Felicity secretly took the photo and sent it to me.
