An hour or so had passed and they finally arrived. Home sweet home, I guess. The engine of the spaceship roared before slowly shutting down and entering its invisible form, parked inside the garage of the Valorant Protocol building ㅡ hidden from everyone, including the government.

The cameras installed outside tilted to the direction Chamber and a few Valorant agents were, their owner checking and counting heads after hearing sounds and detecting motion. The front gates opened, letting all the agents in.

Sova greeted Chamber with a nod as Raze widely smiled at him, spray paints in her hand before sprinting across the hallway to the garage where Killjoy had been waiting for her.

Just like the back of his hand, he knew everything about the Valorant Protocol building due to Sova, who he had been hanging out with recently along with Cypher. Though, they may have had casual meetings with tea, coffee or even alcoholic drinks, Chamber never let himself slip out any important details about him. Until of course, a newly-recruited agent revealed everyone's secrets.

On his way to his own room where more of his equipment were safely tucked in and hid, a certain agent with white hair could be seen in his peripheral vision. "Chamber!"

Jett, their korean Valorant Agent, one of the first recruits approached him with a wide smile, excited to ask him questions.

"How was the mission? Was the city nice? Was it really like how they're shown in movies?"

"It was good. Yes and yes. It would've been better if you were there, only to roam around the city of course but not for the mission." A pout quickly came, blowing raspberry at the older, earning a light chuckle from him. "Geez, petite Jett. No need to do that. I was just joking, of course."

"Didn't seem like it." The shorter crossed her arms in front of her chest, rolling her eyes like a little kid. Chamber knew how to handle her attitude at times like these. A box of macarons was handed to her, eyes widening in surprise. "Those were freshly-made. I do hope that they're still good."

Without expecting any, he received a hug ㅡ a tight, thankful one. "Oh my God! You're the best Frenchman I've ever met! Thank you, Chamber!" And with that, Jett ran off to her friends, sharing the macarons with them while Phoenix noticed and followed her around, asking for at least one.

"Children." Their energy and stamina amazes me at times. The man in his 30s proceeded to walk over to his room, passing by his fellow agents who were minding their own business.

A deep sigh escaped his lips as he entered his place, scanning around before closing the door behind him and locking it.

Every agent's room was catered and customized to their liking, aesthetics and abilities. As for him, the walls were painted with a black paint, accentuating the golden strips flowing in a direction.

With his equipment and necessities all placed in one suitcase, lifted with one hand, he placed it down beside the couch and carelessly lied down on the couch, letting its soft cushion hug him.

Resting after arriving always felt great for him; even before he became a Valorant Agent.

"Time to change and get going with the report, I guess."

Until it was dark out, Chamber had finished writing his report and sent it before getting called into Brimstone's office thirty minutes later through the installed intercom right as he was about to make himself tea. From the device their Protocol had given them, he received another message from Brimstone about the woman he met in his mission.

In an instant, he got into his work clothes. A neat, newly-iron and washed white polo shirt with a slight hint of grayish blue swirls painted on the arms paired with a button-up dark blue vest, its golden bullet-shaped buttons shone under the light. He wore his usual slightly tight dress pants along with a white belt that had a somewhat thick golden lock in front.

As he was on his way out, he turned off the intercom and brought his equipment with him just in case their leader wanted him to do something quick.

The hallway leading to Brimstone's office was quite a bit dark, darker than before. The light bulbs probably needed some fixing to them but that wasn't his job. Funny enough, it was Kay-o's ㅡ their killing machine. A sigh from behind caught his attention, politely greeting their leader. "Hello, monsieur. How was your night?"

"Hell." Chamber couldn't help but chuckle as the slight truth of Brimstone's joke. "I want to talk to you about the woman. Let's head into my office first. I don't want much people knowing or hearing about this."

A few more steps before they entered the old man's office filled with documents, greeting Sage who was calmly sipping tea, quietly sitting in the corner while taking care of Cypher's plants for him as he was on a mission of his own ㅡ collecting more information about Kingdom.

"Good evening, Chamber." Chamber bowed in respect to their second in-command. "Good evening, Sage. I see that you're tending to Cypher's plants. How are they?"

"Almost dead because he forgot to ask me last week. So now, he's panicking." A soft smile was visible on his face, subtly watching Sage. "Well, how are you?"

"Got a bruise from Jett." Sage quickly showed the bruise she had on her left thigh. "She played too aggressively in the arena because Phoenix kept teasing her about her height and how she would never see the top shelf. In which, I agreed because it was true. And so, she got upset and pouted." A small snip could be heard from the cutting tool she was using.

"It's good that I got her a souvenir then, knowing how much of a sweet tooth she has." Sage giggled at the I made of Jett happily running around after consuming sweets. "I guess so."

"Though, no wonder why she had a bit of an attitude."

Brimstone interrupted their conversation by clearing his throat. "So, that woman you were protecting. Do you know anything about her at all?" Chamber shaking his head was an obvious answer and the amount of time he spent in that city.

"Hm, well. I plan on recruiting her."
