The heels of his black dress shoes that had a gold lining at the very bottom clicked in a pattern as each and every step of his gradually got louder with ideas of what to do for his mission that proceeded to flood his mind.

In the back of his hundred thoughts, the messages sent to him a few minutes earlier made him think of the possible plan Brimstone was thinking of. The mission may have been an S-Tier one if he were to protect two people ㅡ the person she was with that night if needed.

The Kingdom had probably been planning this for a while. On his way to the office, the lightbulbs blinked a few times before brightening itself. Hm, looks like Kay-o had the time to fix them.

With his suitcase held in his hand, he used the other hand to knock and waited for someone to open the door, his mahogany, fingerless gloves coming in contact with the door. As expected, it was their second in-command and healer, the most trusted agent in their protocol ㅡ Sage.

"Hello, Chamber. Come in." Sage closed and locked the door behind her, quietly followed right after his footsteps and grabbed a few teacups.

"Good morning, Sage." Chamber greeted, a sound came from her kettle, notifying her that the water had been boiled. Once it was done making gurgling sounds, the younger carefully poured it in the teacups filled with earl grey tea ㅡ to soothe their nerves. Steam continuously came out of the teacup as she carefully handed it to him, softly patting his shoulder.

"Good morning. How are you?" Chamber took a few sips before clearing his throat, letting the tea run through his whole body, feeling its warmth inside of him. "I'm alright. Just thinking about the mission after reading your message, along with Brimstone's."

"Hm, I just never expected Cypher to gather more information even when he had just arrived." Sage placed her index finger on her chin, in deep thought about the said exclusive information Cypher had claimed ㅡ thinking whether he was serious or just joking around.

"Well, he is Cypher."

The young lady quietly agreed, genuinely smiled at his words and took a seat close to him. "For whatever mission and plan Brimstone has in mind, are you ready for it?"

The two grew silent before Chamber cleared his throat, almost drinking half of the tea, glancing at Sage with a small smile on his face. "Yes, I'm always ready. I am Chamber."

"Well, you'll have a backup team ready for you. Jett will be there." With the added information at the end, Sage couldn't help but smirk, knowing the younger's feelings towards the professional gunman who was clueless about it.

Right before Sage could tease Chamber about him and Jett, Brimstone entered the office, eyebrows knitted together with arms crossed in front of his chest.

"Good morning, Brim." Sage got up from her seat and served him tea as well after taking a seat on his that faced everyone in his office.

"Morning, Sage. Thank you." It seemed as though his thanks was whispered, blowing on the tea before drinking it. "So, Cypher was able to gather more information while relaxing in his room."

Chamber relaxed in his seat, waiting for what Brimstone was about to say while Sage sat back down, crossing her legs. "And?"

"It turns out that Kingdom are creating some things."

"Creating? Creating what?" Sage tilted her head to the side in question. "A Valorant protocol."

With such vague information, Chamber raised an eyebrow. What? "My apologies, monsieur. Could you please elaborate on that?"
