A man in his thirties caught many citizens' attention, eyeing him up and down, imagining things that the man himself wouldn't want to know. It was nighttime and the streetlights didn't help either, his mysterious facade had always stolen glances from others.

With a suitcase in his right hand and his personalized briefcase that turned black whenever he left the protocol to protect his privacy and prevent such questions in his other hand, he arrived at the exact place he was at during his previous mission - a fancy, rented place that catered to his taste. The latter settled down, fixing both his suitcase and briefcase that contained his necessities - both personal and on the mission.

Despite being sent to the mission days early, which he himself felt uneasy about, the whereabouts of the woman he was going to protect concerned him. Places where they looked at each other, stores that his eyes caught, that one restaurant where they first met, she was nowhere to be found.

Through the device given to him by the protocol, he sent a message to Sova, a hunter at the protocol, asking where she could possibly be. Information was quickly sent to him as an owl landed on the lamppost right outside his window, to which he gave a nod as a thank you, knowing that it was Sova's reliable, lovable, and loyal pet.

An exhausted sigh left his lips, feeling a bit stiff due to the unthinkable that could happen in this mission. But. nonetheless, Chamber did his best to not overthink. It was strange how it started right before this mission when he didn't drown himself in such thoughts at all.

Hours went by, a good amount of cars and people passed by his place - still no Sabine on sight. Without saying anything and only hearing a sigh leaving through his nostrils, he got up from the couch and turned off the T.V before placing the remote on his favorite coffee table, right beside the cup of tea he made. It was the exact same brand Sage recommended him, just in case he couldn't sleep at night.

The kitchen was occupied with a man wearing a plain, black apron tied around his waist making dinner for himself - Margherita pizza; one of the pizzas Jett had been bothering him about to make back in the days whenever they had a sleepover at each other's room.

Chamber couldn't help but smile to himself at the thought of them having fun together. "Hm, I guess I'll be making her some once I'm done with this mission."

Through the process of baking it, an alarming beeping sound was produced by the protocol device, notifying the lad that the person he was supposed to protect was close to him. "She's already here." Chamber read the message to himself, nodding in understanding before proceeding to finish the baking time of his food.

A few hours later, Chamber slightly opened one of the smaller windows in the kitchen to let the scent out, hearing a familiar voice right after.

The same teenager who took his order before came running out of the back doors, calling her dad on the phone after alerting the police. Marinette. As Chamber took a closer look, Sabine was in a similar situation she was in when they met once again. A disappointed sigh escaped his lips, shaking his head at their ill intentions and attitude. No respect for the lady.

From his suitcase, he grabbed two things - his teleportation device and a customized sheriff gun in which you can zoom in twice, containing much more dangerous golden bullets made by him. The distance from both windows was already calculated before planting his device right in the corner of his place, near the plants while his clothes instantly changed into his protocol one while the other was planted outside the front door.

Though, when he entered the range of his teleportation device, his suit turned into gold; just like the lines on the side of his head. It also produced a specific sound; like a subtle sound of going through the teleporter without the high-pitched sound of the doors opening or entering a different dimension or universe.
