Chapter 7

Mia's pov:
"...will you be my girlfriend?"
I didn't know what to say. Well I mean, hell yah I knew what to say. I just didn't know how to say everthing I wanted to. "Victor I, of course. I'd love to be your girlfriend!" He took my hand and intertwined our fingers. I looked at him and smiled things were perfect until,"What was Rodrigo telling you?" I sighed,"He called me a whore and said that he saw us the other day, when you were walking me to over to my friends. He said that he was going to make sure that we breakup, and he knows that will really hurt me because he found out that I'm depressed. And he thinks that if we breakup I will end up killing myself." I felt a tear fall from my cheek. I have no idea how Rodrigo found out. I never told anyone I was depressed. Victor is now the only person I told and it felt good, but I was scared if he'd break up with me because of that. He looked at me shocked. He wiped my tear away with his thumb. Practically reading my mind he said,"Well, I am going to help you with that. And I will never hurt you or break up with you because of that." He hugged me and I heard the door open and the nurse walk in. I probably looked like a mess but I didn't care."Oh good, you're up. The x-ray results came back and your all good, but you aren't going to be able to do P.E., soccer, football, anything like that for awhile. Your family and friends are in the waiting room. Your parents are signing your release form as we speak." She told him to carefully change and to come outside. I walked out with her and waited with everyone else.
Enrique turned to me, "Look, to be honest. I wasn't really happy about you two at first, but you make him really happy so... I am really happy for you guys." "Thanks, it means a lot" Victor walked out a while later. He hugged me really tightly. "Hey, do you think it would be okay with your mom if you sleep at my house?" "Yah, I'll call her." She answered on the third ring,"Hey hon, how's Victor?" "Good, he woke up about 45 minutes ago. Can I sleep at his house tonight?" "Is it okay with his parents?" "Yah" "Okay, don't break my trust Mia!" "Alright I'll see you later mom, love you, bye." Everyone was walking out of the hospital. On the way to his house I thought about how many cups of coffe I had, wow I had like five cups. I'll try my best to sleep then. We got to his house, I stayed in Victor's oldest brother's room, who's currently in College. Half an hour later everyone was asleep. Victor gave me a pair of his sweatpants and a shirt. I tried to sleep but all that caffeine was taking it's toll, and I had taken a nap next to Fabian at the hospital. I decided to go to the kitchen and get a cup of water. I sat on a couch and looked outside. The night sky was beautiful. I could hear his puppy lightly snoring in the background. I thought about what Rodrigo had said. I started to cry when I thought about how right he was. But Victor said he wouldn't hurt me and I should trust him. He is my boyfriend after all. He makes me so happy. I washed the cup and went off to bed thinking about how fast I'm falling for him.
