Chapter 10

Victor's pov:

I woke up and thought about what to do today. I had been suspended from school for a week. I've been spending all week with Mia. To be honest, being suspended is not a real punishment. I want to spend today with Mia again. I send her a text.

Me: Hey babe, you wake up yet?

Mia: Yeah

Me: Can I come over in a few?

Mia: Course. See you in a few.

I got up and got ready. I made some toast and walked over to her house. I knocked on her door. "Coming!" She opened the door. She looked so adorable."Ummm, thanks?" "What?" "You said I looked adorable." "Oh, well you do."

Mia's pov:

I gave him hug. I still can't believe he's my boyfriend! I've always liked him but I never thought we'd actually go out. I don't understand why he said I look so cute. I'm wearing a pair of black sweat pants and a white muscle tee. We walked over to my room and cuddled together. "So what should we do today?" "Ooo can we go shopping?" "Why do girls always want to go shopping?" "Pweety Pweese?" He looked at me "Okay, fine, let's go." I put on some jeans and my vans, left in my shirt, and got in my car. The first thing Mia did was turn up the radio. After a while Mia looked at me questionably. "What?" "Have you had your wisdom teeth removed?" "Yeah, why?" "I'm going to get mine removed tomorrow. Are you going to be busy?" "No. Do you want me to take you?" "Yes please." "Okay, where's your mom?" "She's at work." We got to the mall in a couple minutes. We walked into Victoria's Secret."Seriously?" "I need some stuff, maybe I'll you'll get to see it later on." I had a feeling that would work. He shook his head and we walked in. He's such a guy. I noticed him looking at the pictures around the store and elbowed him,"You are such a perv!" "Well I am still a guy." I paid for my stuff and we left the store. We went home and watched a couple movies together.

I had just put in 22 Jump Street and we went back to our spot."I love you so much." his voice still makes me get butterfly's in my stomach."I love you more." "Nah, I love to the next galaxy and back." I made myself more comfy and got a whiff of his Hollister cologne. I looked up to him,"I remember when we would first pick you up in the beginning of my sixth grade year, you would wear sooo much cologne." We both laughed at that memory. My eyelids started to close and I did nothing to stop them.

I woke up and looked around, Victor left I guess. I remembered what day it was, fuck, I was going to get my wisdom teeth removed today. I had already had some teeth removed and that hurt like hell. But the thought of Victor in the waiting room made it seem better. The thought of him at all, made it seem better. I got ready, said bye to my mom, and walked over to his house. We left his house and headed over to my dentist.

Victor's pov:
"Okay Victor, how are you related to the patient?" "I'm her boyfriend." "Okay then. I am going to give you some paper work so you can have her mom sign it. And here is a list of usual side effects. We did have to use a bit more anesthesia than normal, but just put some ice on her jaw and no hard food. Other than that she is ready to go." She led me down a hall and into a room where Mia was waiting. A smile crept on her face when she saw me."Oh hey! Can we go home now? They stole ma teeth." I turned to the dentist. She looked somewhere in her twenties."I would have never guessed you added a bit more anesthesia." She giggled and gave me the paperwork. I helped Mia into my car and got into the driver's seat. As I started the car I heard Mia mumble things to herself. I turned the radio off so I could hear her. She immediately turned it back on. "What the fuck, why'd you turn it off? Music is literally my life saver!!! Hey, what do you think our baby's would look like. If they look anything like you, mmm dey are gonna be hot with a capital H. Holy shit that sounded like London Tipton from suite life on deck!!!" God this girl is practically high.

After a couple unnecessary conversations with Mia we finally got to her house. I remember the exact moment I asked Mia out. And now I'm lucky enough to be her boyfriend. I look over and see Mia trying to unlock the door but really not succeeding. I walk over and push the key in. After a few twist the wooden door opened and we walked in. I helped her lay down on her bed. I walked into the kitchen and opened the freezer. I got out an ice pack and a clean cloth. I opened the door to Mia's room and found her crying. I dropped the ice pack and quickly went over to her."Baby whats wrong?" "I'm such a fucking screw up, if it wasn't for me my mom wouldn't have so many problems." "No babe, come on no your not. If anything you help your mom." I picked her up bridal style and took her to my car. I knew exactly what to do. I was about to strap her in,"I can do it." I gave her the seat belt and let her do it. She clearly was over the Medicine's trance. I hated seeing her like that. I ran back inside to get an ice pack and a blanket. I ran back to my car."Where are we going?" "It's a surprise." I pulled out of her driveway and made my way to the freeway.

I made my way to the drive-in."No way! Yay! Ohhh, can we watch Poltergeist!!! Please?" "Okay okay." I pulled up to the cashier box thingy and paid. I found a nice spot and parked. "Do you want to get popcorn or something?" "Why not?" We walked out of my car and headed for the drive-in's cafeteria. We waited for our turn to order. We asked for some popcorn and watched them add the perfect amount of warm butter to the popcorn. We got two drinks and a lot of candy. We both have a sweet tooth. We walked up to the register and I pulled out my wallet."It will be 14.50." Holy shit, that voice was REALLY familiar. It was my ex-girlfriend, Natalia. "Oh it's you." I have had a couple other relationships. And I wouldn't really mind if it was the others but I really minded this one. Mia wasted no time in responding."Yeah, it's him. Got a problem?" Mia knew she was my ex but she didn't know why we broke up. "No, here's your change." Mia grabbed the change and we headed to my car."Why is she pissed at you? She's the one that cheated on you!" "Yeah, about that. She was the one that broke up with me because she caught me staring at someone and thought I was cheating on her."

Mia's pov:
My heart sinked when he said he was caught staring at another girl. At that time, he was in eighth grade and I was in sixth. So if he was looking at another girl I would know who it was."She caught me staring at you." My jaw dropped slightly. I stared at him. I gave him a big hug."Hey, you're squishing the popcorn! Let's talk about this in the car." He grabed my hand and intertwined our fingers. Simple thing make me fall in love with him even more, if it's even possible. We walked to the car and he opened the door for me."Thank you kind sir." "You're welcome ma' lady." We laughed and got into his car's backseat. We fixed everything and got ready for the movie. We still had twenty minutes left."How long have you liked me?" "Whoa the miss self-centered. Since I first saw you. It was the first time my mom picked you up and I immediately was like, oh I want to be her friend. I would have never thought we would end up as more. But I'm happy we did." His tan skin was starting to redden a bit. "I'm happy too." We kept on talking until the movie started.

We were half way through the movie. They were about to open the door. I was cuddling with Victor and I was scared okay. All of a sudden Victor screams, just to scare me. "What the hell? Fuck you Gonzalez!" "Just 'cause you want to fuck me doesn't mean-" "Oh God." I put my head in my hands and started laughing. Our relationship is the good in it's own way. I looked at the time, 11:25."My mom is going to kill me!" "Why?" "Look at the time!" "Don't worry, I already called her. She's good with it." I snuggled against him again. His strong arms wraped around me. I felt so safe in his arms.
