Everything went black after the explosion. All I heard was the immense  ringing in my ear drums, and the exotic pain coming from all throughout my body in every limb.

I then fell numb, not being able to open my eyes.

Spider's POV•
As tired as my body felt, I knew I had to get to a safe spot with Ma.

I managed to open my eyes even though the feeling of pounding at my head grew stronger at every movement I made.

I look to my left, helping myself up and seeing her laying flat on her stomach, head tilted the opposite direction of me. I crawled over to her, shaking her.

"Let's go, quick. They're going to catch up." But after waiting a couple seconds for a response, she didn't move.

"Ma, come on!" Fear grew through me, and it then hit me. "Ma, come on!"

My heart felt heavier and heavier each moment she wouldn't reply. But thank Eywa, she heard me. Y/n coughed a bit, letting me know she was alive.

I climbed to the other side of her to face her. "Oh thank god, let's go, we have to hurry up." She tried to lift herself up, but was extremely weak, so I lended her a hand.

"Shit!" She hissed. "What? Did I hurt you?" I looked at her torso and as I looked deeper, I noticed her thigh was completely flooding with blood.

I thought the whole majungasaurus dinosaur wound with her arm was bad, but this? This was absolutely insane.

"Holy shit.." My eyes widened. "Move your hand." I say and she did.

A large piece of glass was dug deeply into her leg, as well as a big rip on that part of her uniform. It was obviously due to the grenade that had been thrown nearby.

"How bad is the pain level, 1-10?" I grabbed onto her tighter, swinging her arm around me for support purposes. "9."

I had always wondered why these types of things had always happened to her. She always put herself out there, either for me or for Kiri, and she'd always end up hurt. I knew she'd do anything to protect us, but sometimes I don't always need that for her.

"It's gonna be okay, Ma. I promise, let's bring you to Jake." I assured her, not letting her go. "No." She groaned. "I don't want his pity."

"No, he can help you. The people can help you." I mentioned. "I don't want his help. He killed my mother." She grits on her teeth in pain. "What? He didn't kill your mother, it was the sky people."

"He is a sky demon!" Ma reasoned, beginning a rant. "Sky demons never change. Take your father as an example. I tried to help that man but he is the same as every other human."

I took a large gulp, "I'm like every human?" I felt my heart ache. "What? No, my love. You aren't a sky demon. You're my son. Not that man. It's impossible for you to wrong anyone."

I smiled at her, still helping her down the stairs, around dead bodies. The ship felt lower but bigger now.

There were a couple of people shooting  at each other from a level above us, but we just focused on where we needed to get to.

On our way down, I found 'my dad' sprinting through the halls, but quickly stopped when he saw Y/n which left me awfully confused with the situation.

"Go away." I growl at Quaritch, trying to making Ma walk a little bit faster. "Ouch, that hurts, Spider." She mixed up her languages with English and Na'vi.

After her mother died, she started to lose the ability to fluently speak English because Grace was her teacher, but still knew some from the past.

"Who shot her?" He involves himself even though I specifically told him not to and to go away. "She wasn't shot, her leg is almost split open because one of your men set a grenade off." I snap.

"Come with me." He replies lowly. "No fucking way, we need to get her to a doctor. Aren't you trying to kill my friends and my sister right now anyway?" I couldn't hold my anger back any longer. I had to let it go.

"I can help." Quaritch insists, but instead of Y/n biting back, she let him take her, picking her up to hold her like a bride. I could tell she was desperate and needed the attention. She struggled to breath, this time losing a lot more blood than she did in the helicopter last time.

I followed the two up a staircase, into another room, not knowing if I can completely trust him. "We don't have a lot of time." Quaritch informs me.

"No shit."

•Y/n's POV•
Quaritch sits me down on some type of huge object, having no clue of what it was, but it felt cold.

He left for a quick moment, leaving Spider and us alone. "What's happening?" I looked up at him, and he grabbed my hand. I felt dizzy and began to hallucinate.

My breathing picked up, the pain picking up rather quickly. "You're getting help, don't worry."

Not even a minute later, Quaritch had came back with a man named Dr. Ian. They had a bunch of emergency kits with them, attending to my wound in seconds.

He ripped the hole in my pants where the wound was even further so he could get his hands on it better.

"You're bleeding out pretty fast, so we're gonna have to pull this out quickly." He tells me, fixing his gloves before grabbing the large shard of glass stuck inside of my leg.

"On the count of three, i'll pull it, got it? And you, the blond kid, you're going to hold the wound shut with this." The Ian guy hands him a thing of gauze. "-and then I'll stitch it as quick as possible."

I couldn't grab Spider's hand or anything because he had another job, so I kept my eyes shut, holding whatever was beneath me.

The human had started counting, "Three," I bit my lip, preparing for the pain. "Two," He warned, watching my reaction, but then I felt a hand grab my shoulder. I looked up and saw Quaritch try to comfort me. "One."

As the man grabbed ahold of the glass, he tugged but it wasn't moving. I shrieked out in pain, feeling like my entire leg was getting ripped off.

I shoved my face straight into colonel's chest, not wanting to look at the sight below me.

"It's not moving." The man struggled, attempting to yank it out again. I gagged out loud in pain, feeling the glass shard lift slightly.

Without warning, the guy below me kept going, as I kept sobbing.

This pain was unbearable.
