•Y/N's POV•
Miles and I were flying on the creature for about 30 minutes straight, talking about what we should name it. I was thinking Tui, meanwhile Quaritch thought of 'Micheal', or whatever American name.

"That's stupid, give him a name with definition." I argued, still thinking the one I chose was better. "Every name has a definition, Micheal is an easy name to remember." He laughs a little. I shook my head, "Tui is so much better."

This conversation went on for another 10 minutes. "You're stubborn, ain't you?" He guessed, causing me to answer, "You haven't noticed that before?" I tilt my head as he shrugged. "Name him Mikaere, it means Micheal in Maori." I suggested. "Guess so. Mikaere it is then."

The ride was smooth and thought all was going well before a loud crash came from below, sounding somewhat like gunshots.

But instead of stopping, Miles tried to avoid the situation, but I honestly wanted to see what was going on. "Miles, turn around, I want to see what is happening." He looked back at me with a confused face. "I thought you wanted to go back? We seriously don't need anymore problems to deal with, Y/n." I sighed at his response, "Please." I frown, practically begging him.

He squints his eyes at me. "Don't start this shit." He exhales, looking back in front of himself. "Please Miles, I'll do anything. What if something bad is happening? Or what if your sky people are looking for us?" I look up at him with doe eyes, pleading to him. He grunts in annoyance, forcing Mikaere to dove down to the direction of the commotion.

We made a landing a bit farther down from where we first wanted to. We didn't want to blow our cover quite yet, just in case it's a crowd we don't want to be near. "Quiet." I mumble to Miles, letting my ears detect the noises of the crashes. Another booming sound echoed through the trees, giving me an idea of where to go.

"Over here." I wave over to Quaritch, allowing him to follow me over. We stood behind two desperate trees, making ourselves as still as possible. I peek my head over to look at what was happening, my eyes widening when I found the answer. "Holy shit." Jake Sully, Neytiri, their kids, Spider and Kiri stood their, teaching some of the Na'vi people to use certain weapons.

My head pulled right back and I stared at my feet. Miles saw my reaction and wanted to see what was going on. He looked over slightly, greeted by the same sight. His confused face turned stone cold. "Miles, what do we do?" I bit my lip, but before we could even talk about it, he made himself obvious.

He walked over slowly as I panicked. "Well, well, well." He clapped his hands together. "Nice work, Sully. Last time I checked, you still owe me a fight." I ran over to Quaritch, putting my hand on his chest trying to stop him from moving. "Miles, what are you doing?!" I whisper-shout.

Everyone looked startled and the Sully's looked shocked. "Ma, what are you doing here, and why are you with him?" Kiri pointed to Miles. "Kiri I have to get something done. I'll be back soon I promise." I smile fakely, still trying to take my new mate back with me.

He shoves past me, as did Jake. "Leave my family alone, Quaritch." He snarled in his face. "Then let's settle this. We didn't get an answer last time, did we?" I slapped a hand on my face, embarrassed of how Miles was putting on a show. "Stop acting like little boys." I try to talk over them, but they just stared into one another's souls. "Miles, you're acting like a child!" I grab his hand, but he pulled it away. "Y/n, get out of the damn way." He growls lowly towards me.

Who does this guy think he is?

I rolled my eyes, standing back a bit. I looked over at the others to see their reactions, but they all stayed the same as they were before. Neytiri decided to speak up. "This is not the time, the sky people are after what we love and what we know, stop playing around!"

"What do you mean by, "The sky people are after what we love and what we know," ?" I asked, not informed with anything. "They are coming for our animals. They want to take them away from us for their little science projects." Spider shouts over to me. I went completely still. War was back again.

"When? Are they coming soon?" Panic rushed through my body. "We don't have much time. We got the news from the kids." Jake breathed out. "It's true! We saw one of them take our Ikran!" Tuk squeals, Lo'ak supporting her claim with, "They took more than just the Ikran, they've killed multiple animals just to test on them."

I shook my head in nothing but confusion. "What do you mean? Why did you guys come back in the first place?" I wait impatiently for an answer. "We honestly just wanted to visit our people, but these people needed our help more. There are invaders everywhere, left to right." Lo'ak informs me.

I took a moment to think. I needed to help them and I needed to save my home. I was no longer going to stand back and let everyone else fight.

"Let's make this quick then." Jake returns back to the argument in front of him that was soon going to get physical. "It's on, Sully."

Jake stepped back, throwing the first punch. He was clearly over it. Over the fact that Miles was eventually everywhere he and his family was. Quaritch hit him square in the nose, making Jake fall back a bit.

"Miles! Stop being such a child!" I threw myself in front of him, pushing him back with him barely stumbling. "Can you stop getting in the way of things?" He yells back at me, feeling like my heart just had been used as a target for a dart.

"Get out of the way, let us end this." Jake coughs behind me, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Miles pushes me aside and then go back to fighting. The only way I'd get their attention is if I was involved. I step back up to them, creating a space in between them and slapped Jake right in the face, hitting Miles in the same spot with the back of my hand. "You two better listen to me." I grab them both by their braids, tugging them. "If you don't stop acting like fools, so help me Eywa." I then threaten them.

They didn't react, but they also didn't fight back, meaning they got the message. "Miles, you are going to stay by my side until we are over with battle." I decided. "What? That's not what we agreed to?" His ears perk up. "Well it is now. You wanna stay by me you must stay by my people." I walk over to Spider and Kiri, looking at them both with sorrow flooding my eyes.

"I'm sorry you two." I hung my head low. I didn't exactly know how to explain this to them. "I had wanted to get something done but I ran out of time." I hinted to my broken bone as they caught on, especially Spider. "Let's get you healed, okay?" Spider then comforts me, reaching up to grab my arm, leading me over to a group of Na'vi.
