Na'vi language will be in bold.
'✈️' = time skipMiles woke me up with a whisper, slightly shaking me awake. The sun barely shone on our skin, barely making an appearance due to the trees blocking it above us. I mumbled as an answer, wondering why he woke me up so early.
I sat up, stretching myself out. I sat against Quaritch's chest, turning my head to face him. I caressed his face with my thumb, kissing his jawline.
I heard an airy laugh come from his chest, making me smile. He takes the hand that I was touching him with, placing a kiss in the middle of my palm. He puts my hand down, bringing his up to my ear, tucking a loose strand of hair back. I let him admire my features as I admired his. He was an extremely handsome man.
I took notice of how his hair was starting to grow. How his wounds on his face were scabbing over and how his eyes shimmered along with the sunshine. How his eyelashes were straight and how his lip had a small cut on it still.
"I'll be back in a bit." He allows me to comprehend his words before leaving me behind.
I sat up against a tree, recollecting my thoughts on my own. I really hope I didn't make a mistake. Now that we've mated, I cannot turn back. I closed my eyes, still leaning on the tree and fell back asleep to take a small nap, hoping to not be disturbed by anything.
~✈️~
A crackling noise began to come from the bushes on the opposite side of me and my eyes shot open. I looked around, but there was no sight of anyone there. "Miles?" I rubbed my eyes, helping myself to stand on my feet. "Miles, don't scare me, that's not funny. You woke me up."
I assumed at first it was him, but now that no voice returned, I think it's somebody else other than him. I observe my surroundings a little more, but seconds later detecting a new sound. "Miles, stop fucking around." My heart was racing. I couldn't defend myself. It was most likely one of the Na'vi from the clan before.
I felt something grab onto my shoulders, making my heart stop. I whip around, ready to punch someone but instead see Quaritch laughing his literal ass off. I put a hand on my chest, catching my breath and dropping the twig that I just noticed was in my hand as a weapon. "I fucking hate your guts. Go kill yourself." I shove him as rough as I possibly could, as I was still weak, sitting back down against the same tree. "That was fucking hilarious." He restates, sitting down next to me.
"You're stupid. I hate you." I tell him again. "Nah, you love me." He smiles, getting close to my face in a teasing manner. I place my palm in his face, pushing his head away from mine.
My heart was starting to slow down, along with my heavy breathing. But once I let my guard down, it soon turned into another disaster. Another sound came from somewhere behind us two.
We get up, looking for what had made the noise. I reached for my knife, pulling it out and keeping it in front of me. It was a low sounding squeal. Leaves rustled around before a prolemuris came out, launching itself near Miles. He jumped out of the way, many more appearing into sight.
I gripped the knife tighter, waiting for them to attack us. The crowd of monkey looking animals charged over to us, but wasn't aiming for me. Miles obviously disturbed Eywa somehow. I guessed the creatures could detect who is an avatar and who is real Na'vi.
I didn't want to hurt anybody, but I knew these animals would tear anyone apart. I knew there was only one solution to this problem. I grab Quaritch's arm, tugging on it in my direction. "Let's go!" I cry, bolting away with him. Cupcake wasn't going to come back, but maybe Apollo would.
I wasn't sure if we were on the right side of the forest for my banshee to get the signal, but I was going to try it anyway. I looked around for an area with no trees, finding a small area before there was a cliff ending it.
I make my way over, getting Miles concerned. "You're not going to jump are you?" He makes sure before I cup my hands, putting it to my mouth, making sure the call would be loud enough to be heard.
I make the call. The signal sounded like a clicking noise, then a small coo. "What are you doing? We're supposed to be running!" Miles grand onto my arm, trying to get me to move, but as soon as he does, Apollo flies right over us, circling around and making a landing in front of me.
Quaritch lets go of me, and I approach my Ikran. "Hello my sweet boy." I pet Apollo, knowing it's been awhile since i've seen him last. "Let's go." I tell Miles. I get on top of my Ikran, allowing him to get on behind me.
I bond with my braid, telling him to leave the place. We flew downwards as I felt Miles grip onto my waist firmly which had made me laugh a little. I made my ikran fly straight, searching for a place that seemed more familiar. If I could find my home, I could find the way back to head quarters.
In just a split second, everything went wrong all over again.
