Gellert Grindelwad was on a London muggle bench, under the rain, rethinking all his life choices. The truth put him in a great depression. His lover, the father of his children, his Albus, was dead.
Or at least that's what he thought. Or what he was told, like, three hours ago.
When the children were born, Minerva and Bathilda were the first ones to hold them, after Gellert of course. What was Albus doing? Better to ask where he was. The nurses took him to another room; they said farther assistance is needed, perhaps a surgery, to save his life. Obviously, under panic, happiness, and complete chaos, Gellert signed the papers. But he had not heard anything, absolutely nothing, for eighteen hours. He asked, demanded, then yelled, and when he was wreaking havoc he was thrown out of the building. "What happened to my Albus? What have you done to him? What- Where, and why?" these phrases repeated continuously around the corridor of the hospital. The nurses said he was fine -- but nothing else. No explanation on his situation, nor his location. The only thing that they explained clearly was that Gellert cannot visit him.
And of course, being the Gellert he was, the entire hospital was in havoc. He broke the facilities, the medical machines, explosion was in every room he happened to be in. Nonetheless, as a father, he considerately asked - forced Minerva and Bathilda to take the children away. These people were the only ones that mattered to him. The rest of the world, was not so lucky. You take my Albus away from me, I take your life. That was how Grindelwald's mind worked.
Meanwhile, Albus was battling with Death. Not due to health reasons, not at all. He was taken care of pretty well by Gellert, and labour was something they had been preparing together for months. However, he was woken up in a dark room. Cold as well, mind you. For rainy London, a cold, dark room is basically nightmare for someone who had just given birth. To two children. Yet here he was, practically on the verge of passing out and dying.
Footsteps approach steadily to Albus' chair. Bonded and tired, he is unable to move. A very familiar yet unrecognizable voice greets him, so cold and revolting, just like the room.
"Here you are... so precious." He sarcastically laughed. "Precious, in many means. Not only a specimen, wonderful ingredient, an expensive ransom, but also a great, great wizard." He said the last words with incredible bitterness.Albus recognized the man in front of him. He is shocked from the realization, unable to come back to his consciousness, still tired from everything that happened previously as well.
"...Tom."
The other wizard flinched at his words. "Do not call me that."
"Why?" The hostage asked in pure confusion, tiredness, and desperation. "What do you want?"
"Oh I don't want anything. I need. Lots of things. And the best part is, you can provide all of them."
"For Merlin's sake, give me a blanket you cold blooded lizard. I just gave birth to two goddamn humans and I am literally unbothered by your, excuse me, shit." Dumbledore said calmly.
Surprised by his unusual attitude, Tom Riddle Jr. raised his eyebrows. "Interesting." He silently summoned a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate, slightly warming the room as well. Then without wasting any second, he started to walk around the room, coldly stating his needs.
"First of all, congratulations. Wow. A man, literally a man, male, M A L E," he spelled out, "got pregnant and gave birth. To two children. What a great specimen you are, professor."
Albus shivered from the thought. His tiredness and unbothered attitude suddenly drifted away as his mind shifted to a more alarmed, perhaps even frightened, state.
"Secondly, I just needed you. In time." Tom took a yellow paged, old paper from his pocket and read out "A string of hair from an unusual individual, especially with problems in the reproductive system." He looked at Albus with disgust. "How could you, professor? Really? Albus fucking Dumbledore, with a man? ...Children?!"
"Your mother would not be very happy, Tom. You are appearing more and more like muggles. Perhaps, genetics played a role." Albus said with a slight disappointment from Tom's homophobia, which is unusual in the wizarding world.
"Don't you dare. Do not even dare to bring that filth up to my face. I am not like him. At all. Thirdly," he raised his voice, "An expensive ransom. Believe me I do not need money, but the power you hold over that man is incredible. Especially after having two children from him, I can basically do whatever the Merlin I want with him."
Gellert. Albus thought of his name bitterly, hoping desperately he would be here. But rationality is screaming 'no' to his mind.
"Which basically is also the fourth and most important thing. I can control you too." He smirked, high from his own pride. "Imagine that! Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore, both in my hands, absolutely, utterly, completely, under my control."
With that said, he gently moved his wand, causing the hostage to scream his heart out.
