The petals of your signature scaffold my mind,
The image of you now entangled forever,
whilst I desperately try to figure out why you have been so kind-
But the secrets you have built between us are too strong to sever.

The name is now encircling me like a leech to the skin;
The days are suddenly dark, and endlessly repeating.
Especially when that one day you arrived home late- face shifting into a wide grin.
Words spit selfishly from your mouth like venom: " Honey, I think I'm done cheating."
