Andrew's grandpa, Rick, dragged me all the way down the stairs and away from the restaurant. We now were just walking along the long dirt road. With a forest on each side us, with the wind blowing through the leaves. It was peaceful, with the sun setting, and it was so quiet. But despite it all, I felt nervous around Rick, anyway. He seemed nice of course. But he's important to Andrew. and I'm always nervous people anyway.

"So,"Rick broke the silence in a loud, yet soft, strong voice booming through the quiet forest. "How long have you and my grandson been going out?"he asks.

I feel myself blushing at the question. "U-uh... since yesterday."I say shyly.

"Oh. Then he must really like you, my dear."he says.

I look at him. But he stares straight ahead. His hands are in his pockets. Which makes him look weirdly young. "Really?"I ask, and I can hear hope in my voice. Which takes me by surprise.

He looks at me then, and chuckles. "Yes, my dear. He never brings anyone here. That's a girl anyway, that he likes. Plus, he doesn't talk much about girls much either when he is here. And if he ever had a girlfriend before..."he pauses, then says "the I guess he didn't think she was special enough to bring her here."he finished.

I felt myself blush at the words he said. He's basically saying that he thinks Andrew thinks I'm special. And I found myself stumbling over my words. "I-I, uh, um huh.... t-that....," I pause, thinking over the words in my head. "Um, t-thats not possible. W-we b-barely know each other. I mean, we only been dating for one and a half days. And if I think about it, we only officially met last week. And plus, I kinda of was... resistful."

I hear a small chuckle from Rick, but I don't bother looking up. I can feel myself blush yet again coming on. "Oh that doesn't mean anything. A person can like somebody very quickly."

"Yea so, how does that make me special to him?"I ask quietly.

"I don't know, maybe he already liked you before yo two ever met, face-to-face."he suggests.

I give a small laugh. "Impossible."I reply, shaking my head.

"You never know, my dear. I mean, this my grandson we're talking about. I know him a hell of a lot better than his own dad. And I know when someone's important or special to him. And you're special to him." He pauses yet again, and turns to look at me. "So, I need to know, if you really like Andrew. 'Cause I don't want him to be heartbroken. Andrew.. is a very rare boy. Meaning, there's a lot of guys out there thats not like him. He's a sweet, nice guy. He wouldn't deserve to get heartbroken by some girl. So, are you going to be that girl?" he asks.

My eyes are widen a little at what he said. But I shake my head. "No. Trust me. I've had a lot people, mainly boys, screw me over. And I'm honestly a very closed off person. And like I said, I didn't get want to get involved with Andrew at all. But I just wanted to give him a chance. He does seem like a caring, trusting person."I tell him. Then I feel myself blush at the confession.

Rick nods improvingly, then starts walking again. "So Zoe, tell me about yourself."

I grin a little, then say "Well..."

After walking along the trait, and him asking me questions. We headed back to the restaurant. And by the time we finally reached Andrew, the food was cold. So, we had to wait for the food since Andrew was a gentleman and waited for me to come back.

"So, what did my grandpa say to you? Anything embarrassing?"he asked.

"Oh yes, he said you're a secret player who's going to break my heart."I say to him seriously.

His eyes widen, and and his mouth opens and closes like fish. "Wha-wha.. i-is, t-thats not true, you know that right. I-I mean, I'm just an innocent little puppy or whatever. B-bu-ut--"

And he gets cut off by me laughing. I can tell he's confused, but it's just really fun to see him that way. "O-Ooh, my gosh y-you're so gullible!" I say between breaths, holding onto my sides.

It takes a minute, but when I'm done laughing, and I look up at Andrew. He's glaring at me. I smile sheepishly, but he doesn't smile back.

"What?" I ask.

He keeps glaring, "That was rude of you. And if I had an creative mind, I would so do something to you, to get back at you."

I sniffle a laugh. "Ok, then do something."I challenge.

"Fine, I will. And when I do, you wouldn't be expecting it."he replies, crossing his arms over chess.

I roll my eyes, "Ok." I mock. And his glare hardens. I laugh, a little.

I see him rolls his eyes. "Ok, fine, whatever. So, what did you and my grandpa talk about?"he asks.

"I'm not going to tell you."I say.

"What, why?"he asks.

"Because he took me away from you for a reason. So you won't hear what we discussed."I reply.

"Fine, whatever. How about we just ask each other questions then. I mean, we don't actually know a lot about each other."he says.

"Well, thats not entirely true. I mean, you know about what happens to me at my house. Which no one else knows. " I say.

He's silence for a minute until he says, "Well yes, but thats your fault."he waves at me.

"Tsk, yea whatever. But yea I thinks that a good idea."I say.

He smiles, and I smile as well. Then he opens his mouth, but then food comes.

"Here is you two's food."says Isabelle, who sets down the plates in front of us, including our drinks. Which I actually don't remember asking for.
