My mom looked up at me and instantly a smile was on her face, she poked my dad who had the same expression.

"Elyse! Oh my goodness." My mother squealed as she walked over to hug me. I embraced her and smiled at my dad over her, he had walked up to us and joined the hug.

My whole family was ignoring Calum but I knew it was for the best, my dad hated nearing my boyfriends. If Calum was even a boyfriend...

Once the hug had ended my dad stepped back to look at Calum and I. He sighed a little before looking at my mother and giving her a look. When he looked back at Calum he simply stuck his hand out, obviously faking a smile.

"It's nice to meet you.. Um?" He said, expecting Calum to help him by filling in his name.

"It's Calum and it's nice to meet you too sir." He grabbed my father's hand and shook it firmly with a smile. My mom walked up to hug him after the awkward handshake.

There was too much tension in the room for me to handle so I started the conversation.

"Um what are you guys doing here?" I say awkwardly. I felt Calum staring at me, he obviously didn't want to stay here any longer.

"We are here to see the movie, we wanted a classic." My mom said, happily looking up at my dad. It was odd seeing them so happy, I barely saw them when I was in high school.

"Yeah that's cool, I don't want to keep you from it. We should be going now, I'll be sure to call you later." I saw politely, trying to excuse myself. Calum had reached down to grab my hand lightly. We were walking our separate ways when my mother stopped and grabbed for my other arm.

"Elyse, what's on your neck darling" my mom asked, moving some hair out of the way to see. Calum looked at me with panic in his eyes and that's when I realized why he was worried. It was a hickey.. Calum had done it when we were "watching" the movie.

Both my mom and my dad were inspecting my neck, I quickly pulled away.

"Elyse Carter is that a hickey?" My mom asked. She had stern eyes and had one hand on her hip, my dad crossed his arms over his chest. I looked down at the ground, my cheeks pink from embarrassment.

"We're very disappointed in you Elyse." My mom said, taking my dad's hand and walking towards the theater. I looked up to see her winking over he shoulder at me, making me laugh.

We finally left the theater and got into Calum's car. We sat in an awkward silence for a while, driving back to the dorms. I was never good at talking to people because I really never had to be, although I felt awkward I didn't know how to help the situation.

I was glad when Calum started the conversation, "So, your parents seem nice." He said with a smile. I looked over at him and shook my head with a smile.

I really liked Calum, despite everything he's done to me. I knew he had turned around, he wasn't the same person he was in high school. I also knew that if people knew everything that happened they're call me naïve and stupid. I didn't feel stupid though, I felt happy to be with him.

We pulled up to the dorm's parking lot and he turned the music's volume down.

"I had a really nice time with you today, even meeting your wonderful parents." He joked. I laughed at him and nodded my head, agreeing. He took one of my hands in his and held it over the center console.

"We should do it again sometime soon. I'll see you tomorrow though." He said simply before leaning across the car to me. I leaned in until our lips touched in the middle, they moved in sync.

The kiss was sweet and passionate but ended rather quickly when we saw a teacher cross our car. He waited until my teacher passed before going in for another quick kiss. I pulled away with a laugh and waved as I got out of the car and walked to the door of my building.

I got inside and almost instantly fell asleep, being tired from an long day of doing just about everything. I quickly got into my bed and slept until my alarm woke me up the next morning.

Sorry this is such a short chapter but I promise I'll update tomorrow. I'm adding a new character into the story as one of her teachers so I hope you like it.
