I was hanging out with Scar when suddenly my vision went purple and I got really dizzy which resulted in almost falling over him

"Grian! Are you okay?" He grabbed my shoulders and I sat myself on the ground feeling more comfortable on a hard surface, "I-I don't know, I can't see anything, everything is purple.." I stuttered out

I opened my eyes again but I wasn't in hermitcraft... the sky was blue and I was blinded by the sun in my face, I put my arm in front of my eyes and looked around. I was standing on a mountain kind of thing covered with grass and trees. I quickly began to punch a few trees to get some tools, if this was a permadeath server I need to protect myself before I go searching for other people. I couldn't be alone here could I?

I've gotten some tools so I should go check if I can find anyone I think to myself

Before I could take a step something appeared in front of me, I read out the letters. "Your soulmate is..." what is this?? Does this mean there is other people here, maybe hermits? "Four question marks..okay so does this mean I have a soulmate??" I talked a loud to no one other than myself

I began to stroll down the mountain side, there was a huge fjord with water on the bottom and a pilligar outpost on the other side. The sun was beginning to set in the horizon and I squinted my eyes to see two figures on the other side of the fjord. I could make out a bit taller male figure with white hair and a hint of grey and green clothes, was that Etho? Then there was this other guy, he seemed to be a shorter but not by a lot, he had brown hair and another shade of brown as a shorter jacket and a shirt underneath, he wore beige pants but I couldn't recognize him?

I sprinted towards the end of the creek and began to block over to them, I need to find out why were here and what this 'soulmate' kind of thing is

"ETHO!" I yelled and waved as I reached him and that other guy chatting with each other, "Oh hey Grian!" He said smiling under his mask

"Ermm...do you know why we're here? And like, what this soulmate kind of thing is?" These two questions are both something I genuinely wanna know the answers too

"No I don't but I know a bit about the soulmate thing if I'm honest" he said while smiling at the other man

I tinted my head a bit "Who is he anyway?" I said bluntly

"Who?" I laughed to myself, "Sorry," I pointed at the guy "I mean him, I haven't seen him before- " I suddenly took heart damage outta nothing "why did I just take damage!? I'm not starving or anything??" I shouted but not too loud

"That's one of the perks of this, we all got selected a soulmate and if your soulmates takes damage you take damage, so if you die your soulmate dies" he said "And this is Smallishbeans, or Joel, he's my soulmate"

I looked at him again smiling, something I didn't notice was a neon green streak in his hair "Ah okay, hi Joel my name is Grian and I'm sure we'll get along good. By the way, where are you from?" 

He smiled at me "I'm from another server named 'Empires' which is quite similar to hermitcraft"

"That's cool" i said and looked at Etho again "do you know if this is a permanent death server?"

"By looking at the three hearts on my wrist I think we have three lives, and let's hope that if you or your soulmate die you reset in hermitcraft.."

"...yeah, let's hope that"

A few hours had passed and I've met a few more pairs and people for example Impulse and Bdubs which are paired. And i saw tango wondering around with BigB and a person named Scott from Empires hang out with Timmy, it was a surprise seeing him and bigB here as we know each other from Evo. But thinking of Evo made me realize something, maybe this is the watchers work? What else could've done it? And I'm sure X would never do this to us without any warning so it must be the only choice
