       [Mumbo POV]

"Mumbo whyyyy??"

"For the last time, you will get extremely drunk and probably get yourself in some drama shit." I replied getting a little bit annoyed at the same question constantly repeating. We were invited to a party the other day and Grian wouldn't shut up about it.

"But I want to goooo, everyone is coming and I haven't been in a party for soooo long."

"That's cause last time you literally made out with some random dude since you were drunk!"

"What if you come with me? You can protect me!" He suggested desperately trying to make me convinced.

I thought about it. He would never forgive me if I said no, so it's basically the best option I have really.

I crossed my arms. "Fine. But promise that you will always have a way to contact me, preferably that you can always see me. I don't want you to get hurt in some way."

"Yayyy!" He jumped up and down in excitement. I couldn't resist a smile on my face. he was kinda cute when he was happy, as if I didn't know that already tho.

"When's the party anyway?" I asked.

"Uhh I think it starts at like 10pm tonight."

"Okay then, do not dress up in something innapropriate Grian! If you do I'll not let you go there."

"Fineee, i guess I'll just dress up in my casual wear." He answered clearly annoyed.

"Great!" I smiled, "im gonna head in my room, come in if you need anything."

The clock was 9:36pm so I started to get ready.

I walked out of my room with my black suit and red tie on, I decided to just go in my normal clothes since I'm not really gonna be there for the party, only for Grian's safety.

I knocked on the door. "Grian? Are you ready?" I asked.

"Yeah! One sec.." he shouted back.

He came out with his normal red sweater but instead of normal black jeans he had fishnets with tight shorts on. I could also notice some makeup on him, was that glitter in his hair?

Anyway, I guess the outfit wasn't really innapropriate so I'll let it slide.

"You look amazing Grian" I told him whilst grabbing his hand and started walking to the door.

"Thanks!" He followed after me, I looked back at him and he was smiling at me.

"What is it?"

"Am I not allowed to smile at compliments?" He looked up at me.

"Nono it's fine" I quickly reassured.

He took a quick look at my outfit. "Anyway, you look great as well Mumbo"

"Thanks sweetheart."

When we arrived at the party i could see some of my friends. The room/living room was pretty big, it had a little bar with drinks and food on it with a sofa across the room there was also some other doors, they probably let into some bedrooms and bathrooms, it was one of the hermits houses after all.

"I'm gonna go hang out with scar and iskall!" Grian kinda shouted while walking over to them.

"Okay..don't get too drunk." I answered. I walked over to the sofa and saw Xisuma chatting with impulse and tango. I sat down and I joined the little chat they had going on. After a while tango and impulse got bored and went to take a drink.
