Chapter Six

Shin POV

"Bye Umeji...!" I said, a little sad he had to leave. We were having so much fun together, and I got to see the smile I cant get enough of! I turned around to my parents to ask them about how they would feel if I has dating a boy. When I was young they always said "you can not date until your 16!" Stuff like that, so I was a bit nervous and afraid to ask them this question. 

"Oh... SLAY!" My mom yelled in the most high pitched voice ever when I asked her my question.

"What are we talking about?" My dad pitched in, confused.  

"Oh I just wanted to know what you guys would do if I dated a boy..."

"Oh well as long as he's not going to cheat or break your heart then I'm fine with it! But id still have to test them just to make sure..." My dad said, being his usual overprotective self. To be honest it made me laugh a bit. I was relived to find out that they didn't care. So content with the response I was given I quickly walked up stairs. "I need to figure out his phone number..." I thought while pacing around my room. "When do I plan to confess my feelings to him?" I asked myself while staring at my calendar. "I think maybe this Friday will be a good day?... Mmm maybe? But what if he doesn't like me back? Then my confession would just be weird and embarrassing!" My mind created a spiral with these thoughts.  Then quickly some dark thoughts came to mind, I didn't want them to put I couldn't really control it... "Then cast a spell to make him love you!" . . . no I don't wanna do that it will make me feel guilty! "Then MAKE sure he loves you! Tie him up in your basement if you have to!" . . . N O . . . I would get caught plus he would hate me. I laid on my bed just . . . thinking I guess. Trying to bat away these horrible thoughts.

I got up and brushed my teeth, took a shower, then changed into my pajamas and tried to go to sleep. Then I finally feel asleep. 

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

I got out of bed and turned my clock of. I when to get changed, and brush my teeth. I went downstairs and made some toast to eat. Then I went to school, It was a Wednesday so I had two more days until the week was over. I changed into my indoor shoes and then I started walking.

"Shin I was waiting for you!" Umeji tapped my shoulder. 

"Uhm you enjoy walking with me?" I asked him  as a turned around with a little laugh.

"YES I do ok! How about this! Me and you trade phone numbers!" He asked, a little out of the view.

"Oh ok" and with that I had his phone number! I was so happy to finally have it! If he didn't asked I probably wouldn't have his phone number. I said bye then walked to my clubroom where the members where waiting for me. I walked into the clubroom. The others greeted me and he started to walk around the school, looking at different things. Then the bell rang signaling it was time to head to class. I walked to class and took my seat as usual then Umeji texted me. 

"Hey Im going to be a little late I just forgot to grab my lunch when I was heading out the door! lol did you pick up your lunch?" I rummaged through my bag to see. No I had forgotten.

"No I forgot too haha! I texted back

"Ok what do you want at burger king?" He texted.

"Oh . . . um maybe a chicken sandwich why?"

"oh because I'm at burger king rn I wanted to know if you wanted anything"

"oh you don't have to"

"oh but I will!"  And with that he stopped texting me, probably was ordering the food. More and more students walked into class. Then Umeji came! He sat down and class started.

Class was boring, as usual but with Umeji now sitting next to me it wasn't so boring. I looked down at my desk to find hurtful words written on my desk now they said.

"homo"

"freak"

"faggot"

"DIE"

"NO ONE WANTS SOMEONE WHOS GAY HERE"

"get outta here"

"you dont deserve to be in Akahdemi!" That one was written by Hoshiko, if I had a say one of the dumbest bullies ever. Well I'm assuming Umeji saw because when the bell rang he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of there. We went to the storage room I always went to.

"look, they don't know how wonderful you are! Don't listen to them!" Umeji told me. I didn't believe the wonderful bit but I kept my mouth shut. He gave me the chicken sandwich I wanted and ate in peace. Then we heard the bullies.

"Ugh where is that brat?"

"I bet his hiding out of fear! What a freak!"

"well I guess we'll look for them"

As soon as I heard the first voice I grabbed onto Umejis arm very tightly. I was scared of them, they had made my life a living hell! I don't want them to bully me or anyone, but I was to scared to stand up to them.

"Lets look in here first.." One of them said as the door handle moved. I was cowering in the corner like a freak! I couldn't speak I was so scared. My hands be came clammy as Umeji tried to prevent them from coming in.

"UGH its not budging!"

"Well push harder" 

"we will help!" Not gonna lie these girls did have good teamwork. I was getting lightheaded when I could see that they managed to push the door a little. Then in a flash Umeji got up, opened the door and ran out there without letting the bullies in! I could hear him yelling at them and threating things.

"OW! why do you have a BAT???" One of them yelled. Then I heard footsteps heading away from the door. Umeji walked in, closed the door and sat down. He sighed as he got closer to me to sit next to me. I wasn't going to ask him what he did because they kinda deserved it. Then the rest of the day we were together! It was so fun! 

"Hey um how would you feel if we had a sleep over?" Umeji asked

"Im down I just have to make sure its ok with my parents" I said while pulling my phone out and texting them the question.
