Chapter Twenty

Shin POV

When I got home I was pretty tired so I went to my bedroom to change, brush my teeth, and go to bed. I quickly feel asleep.  

I woke up around 5 am since I went to sleep early, I got up decided to get dressed and jam to some music. Then my phone went off.

"Gosh darn who is it. I'm jamin-" I picked my phone up and saw that it was Umeji! 

"Bro Im soooo bored, I just got up lol" Was his text message, I quickly replied. 

"Sameeeeeee lol" 

"you know what? IM GONNA SNEAK INTO YOUR ROOM >:)" 

"WHAT? YOU CANT DO THAT ME AND YOU WILL GET IN BIG CRAP"

"you cant stop me from doing it though"

"Then ill just push you out the window"

"You dont have the guts lol"

"Whatever" 

So Umeji was so bored he decided to sneak into my room, he was right about me pushing him out the window though. So I just went back to jamming since I didn't expect him to actually sneak into my room. When I realized he was in my window I gave him a disapproving look.

"Soooo you were dancing to kill time?" He laughed. 

"u- well yeah . . . WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE" I whispered-screamed. 

"Didn't I tell you? I'm sneaking in! DUH!" He said a little to loud.

"SHHHH My parents will hear you!" I ran over and put my hand over his mouth. 

"So what happened to you pushing me out the window?" He asked, muffled. I rolled my eyes and pulled him inside so he wouldn't fall out my window. 

"Seeeee I knew you didn't have the guts!" He whispered while nudging my arm. 

"Whatever" I huffed. Umeji then proceeded to hug me form behind. 

"You are going to get into trouble" I laughed.

"Awww am I?" He said while nuzzling his head in my neck. I put my hand on his head and started to ruffle his hair, it felt right in the moment. 

"That feels nice . . ." He yawned. "Why don't we lay down?"

"Because you aren't supposed to be here." I replied firmly. (Me debating if at the end I should kill Shin :| )

"Aww ok . . . I'm getting tired anyways I should probably get home" He said as he went over to the window and climbed down. I waved to him through my window, a goodbye. Then I pulled out my recorder.

"I have a feeling something bad is about to happen . . . " I whispered as I turned it on. Once I did I sat down on my bed and started to read a book. It was about a girl named Nita and how she saved a boy, but that boy sells her to the black market. Nita is an unnatural, one nobody has ever seen before. She has the ability to manipulate every part of her body, every cell, and every organ, she has 100% control of her body. I find it fascinating how she does that, its like second nature to her. I was reading the second book now. Then I saw a steak knife, . . . floating? I quickly put my book down to look around my room.

Nothing.

Then I heard something. 

"Hehe I wanna have some fun Higaku!~"  

"Who are you?" I asked the voice.

"Oh? I thought that 18 year old brat told you~" She giggled. I quickly remembered. 

"Fun Girl" I sighed. 

"beep beep! Correct!" She beamed. I shuttered, I felt my hands go clammy.

"You know what I'm here for?" She asked. 

"I don't know . . . " I finally whispered.

"Hehehe oh you are dumb . . . I'm here to get rid of the people who found out about . . . the murders" She giggled, my hands clenched. How could I fight someone who was invisible. I ran to my door to try and unlock it.

"Oh don't bother! I've locked it~ " (THE WORD COUNT RIGHT HERE IS 666 WTH)

I shuttered and ran to my window, it was unlocked. I quickly jumped out and ran to the police department. I landed and as I ran I heard a snap then a sharp pain rose in my leg. I feel down and I looked at my leg, It was lopsided. I just about screamed in terror. My vision was fading as I heard more bones crack and more pain shot its way through my body. Then I saw someone In a trench coat, they held a torch and a knife. 

"Stop your bullshit" I, what I presumed, a girl, said. I looked up and saw a familiar face, Ayano Aishi.
