Chapter Seventeen

(IDK HOW TO SPELL-)

Umeji's POV

Me and Shin walked back to my house after informing the police about our discovery. My mom had came back now and was unloading the car, of which was filled with groceries. Me and Shin started to help her out. 

"Oh thank you!" Mom praised. (honestly Umeji has parents I wish I had.  Except the dad-)

"No problem" I concluded. My mom let out a very happy laugh while she skipped to the door, with bags in her hand. Me and Shin followed. After we brought the groceries inside I told my mom about the murder that happened here. 

"Oh my gosh! I thought that lock was just glued shut!" She shuddered. "How do you know its a murder? And how to you know that a spirit showed you it?"

I explained all the evidence on the table, her eyes widened as I continued to tell the story. I told her about yesterday and today, how Shin got a spirit box to talk with the spirit, and of course to gather more evidence. Mom was visibly sweating after I was done telling her.

"And you didn't bother to wake me up and tell me?!" She shouted, I never heard her raise her voice at anyone before. "Umeji! I . . . next time something like this happens please wake me up!" Her voice was full of worry and despair.

"I- well . . . I wanted you to have a good nights rest and not worry about stuff at work! I'm sorry" I pleaded. I was quite shocked she raised her voice, but I knew it was out of worry for me, but still . . . quite shocking. Mom sighed.

"Look don't worry about me next time ok? Just come up and tell me." She stressed. This time her voice was more low and calm, almost as if she felt bad for shouting. I nodded my head, I looked over at Shin. He was gone. I panicked. 

"No no no no no no no" I repeated under my breath. My mom noticed he was gone and searched all around the house. I pulled out my phone and texted him.

*BUZZ* *BUZZ* *BUZZ* 

I looked over to see his phone, the same stickers, everything. Sweat trickled its way down my face. 'How could I have lost him?' I scolded myself. I went to check outside and there he was, closing the trunk.

"I forgot to close it and you two where talking sooo" Shin explained. I audibly sighed.

"You scared me Shin!" I ran to him and hugged him tightly. "I don't know what I thought I just thought . . . something bad happened to you" My hug tightened on him. 

"Um Umeji- You kind of suffocating me . . ." Shin said between breaths. I immediately let go and apologized to him.

"Im sorry! I . . . just-"

"Its okay Umeji! truly" He whispered, while moving my hair so it wouldn't be so messy, not to mention it was covering one of my eyes. 'I really need a hair cut' I thought to myself. 

"AWWWWWWWW!" My mom exclaimed, making me and Shin jump. She was so light on her feet, despite the high-heels she was wearing. She quickly looked at Shin. "We were worried for you haha . . . So when are you guys gonna start dating?"  

"MOM" I hid my face.

"uhm I dunno . . . " Shin smiled "Since we are dating now I cant see how we would start dating AGAIN" 

Shin had spilled the beans. I looked at Shin, very confused on why he said that. He gave me a 'you were taking to long' kind of face. I looked at mom and she was jumping up and down out of excitement.  

"I KNEW IT!" She giggled, no . . . more like laughed, very loudly. She dragged us inside. She went right to making dinner.

"I can make dinner! You can-" I was cut off

"Yessss you can but I wanna prepare a meal for you both!" She told me. I nodded my head and walked to Shin, he was standing there, looking at me. I blushed underneath his gaze. I took his arm and walked him up stairs so my bedroom. Once me and him where in my bedroom I closed the door. 

"How did you do that? Telling her? I would be so nervous to the point I would be shaking!" I gawked. 

"O-oh um I really don't know haha" He looked me in the eyes and hugged me.

"Me and my mom are planning our summer break . . . do you want to come with us? If you family isn't doing anything of course." I chuckled. Shin looked at me, confused.

"But its November . . . " He pondered. 

"Oh well mom likes to plan everything early! We already have our Christmas break planned" I replied. I swear I could hear the gears click into place in his head. He let go of me and sat down on my bed. He put his hands up in the air and made grabbing gestures. (IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN IT)

I went over to my bed and sat down beside him. He quickly hugged me from the side and nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck. I wrapped my arms around him and brought him closer. I felt my face heat up, since when he rested his head on my shoulder, I could feel his lips on my neck. I was a blushing mess! Shin moved his head so his hair was on my neck and I quickly felt the heat in my face fall. (I REALLY WANT SHIN TO  KISS HIS NECK BUT I FEEL THIS ITS TO SOOOOOON)

Shin out his hands to my face and held my face in his hands. My hand fell to his sides without me telling them too. He pulled my face towards his so our noses where touching. It was surreal, I mean every time we kissed it felt fake, like I was dreaming. He stayed there, as if waiting for my consent. I pulled him to me so we would kiss.

"M-" Shin was shocked I suppose. I held him there so I could pinpoint what I felt when we kissed. It was straight bliss, like all the negative emotions fled and only positive ones stayed. When we pulled apart Shin look up at me, his eyes were shining as of he was a little kid looking at a stuffed bear through glass. He pulled me into, yet another kiss. His hands, still cupping my face, was gently rubbing my face now. I felt a very familiar feeling rise to my face. My hands now were resting on his hips, my hands were on his back. We pulled away again, I caught my breath.

"Um . . ." I whispered, I wasn't expecting us to kiss again, but I wasn't complaining either. Before he could speak I drew him closer to me, our lips were barely touching, Shin filled the gap. My arms were practically hugging his frame by now. Shins hands feel down the my shoulders, his hands stayed there for some time but then quickly moved back to his face. We parted again.

" wow . . . " I gasped. I really wanted to kiss him for eternity, but alas we could not live that long. "I love you so much . . . Moon" I whispered in his ear. 

"I love you too . . . Sun" He said back, I know its probably cringy but, being called that filled my heart with an immense amount of joy. He looked at me in the eyes.

"Can we kiss again?" Shin whispered, I pulled him in for another kiss. He let out a soft moan, which made my heart flutter. We pulled apart and Shin looked slightly shocked, maybe because he . . . moaned? His face quickly filled with a bright red.

"um. . . I wasn't expecting me too . . ." Shin looked down and covered his face. I decided to act like I hadn't heard it since I didn't wanna make him feel embarrassed.

"hm? you too do what?" I asked. He looked up at me, blush fading.

"O-oh nevermind then" He whispered.
