Chapter 8: Way too much drama for one day

1 week later

Adriano's POV

I had just arrived at school when Trisha's friend, Rebecca or whatever, came up to me.

Rebecca: Hey Adriano!
Adriano: Hey. What's up?
Rebecca: Oh nothing. I just spotted Olivia and Trish talking and Olivia looked angry.
Adriano: Okay. What's that got to do with me?
Rebecca: Well, I heard Olivia mention your name so I think they're talking about you.
Adriano: Trisha can handle herself, but I'll check it out to make sure things don't escalate.
Rebecca: Thank you.
Adriano: Hold on, why are you telling me?
Rebecca: Because if they're discussing you, I can't do anything in the situation if it comes to either one of them asking something about you.
Adriano: Oh okay. Thanks for telling me, I guess.
Rebecca: You're welcome.

She smiled and left. Weird. She said she wouldn't be able to confirm or deny anything to do with me... Does she know?! Well, if she does it's not a big deal, but how?! Girls really would be great detectives.

I made my way inside and I saw Trisha being shoved against the locker by Olivia. That psychopath!

I saw her lift her fist and I didn't hesitate to basically throw my bag down. I managed to protect Trisha from the blow by shielding her.

Olivia: Stay out of this!

I grabbed her hand and gave her a death glare. All I saw while looking at Olivia was red. My common sense left me and I knew it, but I didn't do anything. No one, NO ONE gets to hurt the only good thing that's happened to me recently.

Adriano: Why don't you leave my girlfriend alone first?

Olivia's face went from anger to shock.

Olivia: The rumours are true?! You snake! You knew I liked him and you did this?!

She tried to get to Trisha but my grip on her arm tightened. She winced in pain but I didn't care.

Trisha: Adriano.

Hearing Trisha's voice weakened the beast inside me. I let go of Olivia and checked Trisha's body for any serious injuries.

Olivia: That's right Trisha. Keep your guy in his place.

Trisha's face went from angelic to the deadliest face ever. Even I got scared.

Olivia: You shouldn't forget your place either! You have no right to date MY guy when you know what happened between us.

Olivia grabbed Trisha and shoved her into the locker.

Olivia: Don't act all tough now that your boyfriend is here.
Trisha: Since you're my sister you should know that I only fight when you hurt someone I love!

Olivia raised her hand to hit Trisha and I wanted to stop her, but before I could react, Trisha grabbed her arm and twisted it. I know how strong Trisha is. She's on the verge of snapping Olivia's arm like it's a stick. Then again, she's always been good at controlling her temper.

Trisha: Try that again, I dare you.

Oh my gosh, my girlfriend is scary when mad! I'm scared she might actually break Olivia's arm!

Trisha: Just because I didn't fight back it doesn't mean I'm too weak. Don't forget that. There are cameras here. Your manipulation and lies can't save you this time.

Trisha let go of Olivia's arm, picked up her stuff and led me away from the scene.

Adriano: I'm proud of you for standing up to her. I know it's not easy.
Trisha: Sorry for getting you caught up in-
Adriano: What did I say about apologizing for things you don't need to apologize for? And don't apologize for that either.
