Naruto Of The Rinnegan

The One With The Tails

Third Person POV

Naruto was sitting in his room with his Rinnegan activated, trying to write down everything they provided him with.

In front of him was a paper with the rinnegan's abilities that he knew of, written.

He had already learnt about the Asura Path, Deva Path, Naraka Path, Animal Path, and Preta Path.

He sighed as he stared at the moon in peace before he felt said moon turning orange.

Slowly, darkness surrounded him, and he felt himself falling to the ground.

He opened his eyes and found himself in a huge sewer with a cage in front of him. Behind the cage, he sensed a very huge yet calm amount of Chakra.

"... Nine tails? Are you there?" Naruto questioned.

"So you've already figured it out. Should've expected it considering how smart you are, child." A load voice appeared.

Naruto stared at the gate in awe as 2 huge red skirted eyes glew at him.

"Hey, foxy." Naruto said with a giggle.

"Don't you call me that. I'm the great nine tails, the demon, the all mighty kyuubi. I can devour you in less than a second brat!" The nine tails roared.

"If you're really that 'demonic,' you'd be attacking me with a nail or at least force some killing intent on me." Naruto said while walking towards the gate.

The nine tails froze slightly, a slight smirk appearing on his face.

"This place looks disgusting, I'm surprised you survived in here for 10 years." Naruto, now sitting on one of the gates, spoke.

"And how do you know that I've been here for 10 years?" the kyuubi asked.

"Oh simple, my dad sealed you into me when I was born. October 10, my birthday and the day you were controlled by a Uchiha to attack the village." Naruto said with a shrug.

"So that old man told you that I was being controlled? Annoying brat." The kyuubi said with a lazy tone.

"Yeah, he also told me that you were being controlled for a few minutes only. You chose to destroy the village, then attacked me, but my parents shielded me." Naruto shot back.

He noticed the Kyuubi flinch, but the latter showed no sign of emotion, not guilt, not sadness, nothing.

"It's ok, though I already forgave you. You were forced into two jinchuriki, one of which was my mother. You were seen as nothing but a beast and a tool. No one would want to relive such a thing even though I do believe that you could've approached it differently. Who knows, maybe... a friend?" Naruto suggested sticking his hand out in a fist.

The tailed beast couldn't say a word before Naruto felt another presence.

"Who's with you?" Naruto 6 beside the tailed beast.

"So you can see sense them too? Why don't you check it yourself? Your little purple eyes can probably help." The kyuubi said, rolling his eyes.

Naruto nodded before activating his rinnegan. In front of him stood a man with short, spiky brown hair, two locks of which were wrapped in bandages framing either side of his face.

"You... your Chakra is familiar." Naruto mumbled

"Of course it's familiar, I'm your first life after all." The man spoke.

Naruto tilted his head in confusion. The man then went in to explain everything about himself and his brother alongside their father, the Sage Of Six Paths.

"So I'm your reincarnation and so is my great grandpa who just so happens to be the first hokage while my other great grandpa is your brother's reincarnation that just so happen to be his biggest rival and enemy... That's really cool." Naruto cooed.

"Yeah, you share both their Chakra while also being a reincarnation of myself, which explains why you'd have the rinnegan. What I don't understand is how you are casually turning it off and on as if it's some kind of Sharingan." Ashura shot back.

Naruto was now in his arms with the man caressing his back.

"The old sage man explained it." Kurama spoke.

The 2 turned to look at the laid down fox with confusion splattered all over their faces.

"Back when Kushina got pregnant with Minato's child. The old sage appeared in front of them. He told them that their offspring would be one of a kind. He told them that their offspring would do the  impossible and save the world breaking the cycle of hatred." Kurama ranted

Naruto and his past life nodded in understanding, both visibly in awe.

"As for the rinnegan, I believe that it's because it was born with you. Thus, it's still not fully developed." Kurama continued

"So I can grow even stronger with it?" Naruto asked

"If what Kurama is saying is correct, then yeah, think about it this way. You were born with the Rinnegan, as a quarter Uchiha you can unlock the Sharingan, but since the Rinnegan is already an upgrade of the Sharingan, then you unlocking Sharingan will strengthen your Rinnegan." Ashura spoke.

"Oh so instead of unlocking a tomoe sharingan I'd add a tomoe to my rinnegan. That's interesting... Also, is he Kurama?" Naruto asked, pointing at the nine tails.

"Yeah, he's Kurama. One of the nine tailed beasts." Ashura stated

"The strongest of the nine tailed beasts, brat." Kurama spat, correcting him.

"Ohh ok, well I'm glad I got to see you guys, but I think I should leave. I still have to train." Naruto said, standing up.

Kurama only shrugged and turned the other way, still 'sleeping'. Ashura shot the child a smile and patted his head.

"If you even want to talk to me, I'll be in your mind... Literally. If you want to come here then just think about it, kiddo." Ashura explained.

"Yeah, ok, thank you." Naruto shot back.

He closed his eyes and then opened them only to find himself in his room.

"This will be fun." He mumbled
