Four Down

"What's wrong Hiruzen-sama and where's Naruto ?" Kakashi asked.

"Two akatsuki members have killed the 2 tailed jinchuriki and then went to a temple in the face of fire. They and killed the head monk, Chiriku, a former bodyguard for the Land of Fire's nobility. One monk managed to escape, and informed Tsunade of the incident. I sent a group of Ninja, my son Asuma being one of them, to gi afrer them yet they failed due to how strong they were." Hiruzen ranted.

"... what happened to Asuma and what does it have to do with Naruto." Kakashi asked and as much as Hiruzen tried to hide his reaction he still flinched slightly as his eyes seemed to water.

"Asuma... took his last breath on the mission. Naruto went to help but teleported himself and Asuma's team so late that they arrived while Asuma fell limp." Hiruzen explained.

Kakashi nodded and excused himself before rushing towards Naruto's apartment

He went through the window only to find the teen sitting on his bed staring at a spiral that he drew.

"... are you ok Naruto?" Kakashi asked.

"I an fine, is the mother of Asuma's child tho?" Naruto asked with a low town.

"Kurenai? Shes pregnant?" Kakashi asked.

"Yeah, I sensed the chakra of the kid inside her when I told her about Asuma-sensei." Naruto mumbled.

Kakashi sighed as he sat next to the teen in silence.

"I swore to always be there for anyone that needed my help yet where was I when Asuka died? Visiting Gaara to check on him, what a ninja." Naruti mumbled.

A week passed by before the Uzumaki could accept any mission given to him.

The only reason he did was because Shikamaru asked him to.

The new three-man Team 10 prepared to leave and continue Asuma's mission, taking down the 2 akatsukis.

However, Hiruzen refused to let Team 10 go, since they lacked a captain. Kakashi volunteered to temporarily fill the gap, and the four-man team headed off.

All that was told to Naruto via a letter that shikamaru sent while they left the village.

"I want our team to go help them." Narito said to the hokage as his 2 teammates stood with him.

"Do you have any sensei with you?" Hiruzen asked.

"We're all chunin but if you do want a sensei just send that wood release guy with us." Naruto spat out, his body shaking.

"Fine, go get ready while I see if he'd like to join you." Hiruzen nodded.

Naruto and his teammates all left to Naruto's apartment as they had their stuff ready planning on going to help whether the hokage approved or not.

A few hours passed before all 4 where with Naruto on the gates of the village.

"Did the hokage give you the root to where they're heading for should we track them down?" Asked Yamato.

"Just touch his shoulders." Sasuke ordered.

The man did as told and they all appeared next to Kakashi.

"Took you long enough?" Asked Ino.

"Where are they?" Naruto questioned back while activating his rinnegan.

"Ino used her Mind Body Switch Technique on a crow in order to find the two. We need nearly one more day to find them." Choji said.

Naruto nodded, the others didn't sat a word knowing this fight would be for the Uzumaki and the Naara to do.

Everyone continued their journey as they discussed the plans that Naruto chose to ignore.

Once they found the duo, everyone his in the bushes ready for the plan.

Shikamaru snuck his shadow near Hidan and Kakuzu, who both managed to jump out of the way.

Shikamaru then was about threw two explosive kunai only for Naruto to blast the two with his shinra tensei.

"NARUTO! What's wrong with you ?
The pla-" Ino's cries were ignored by the teen that jumped away summoning 5 clones that rushed at Kakuzu.

He used shinra tensei again at Hidan blasting him towards Shikamaru whose eyes darkened as he readied to end the Akatsuki.

"No one interferes besides Kakashi." Shikamaru said as he jumped towards Hidan.

Naruto rushed at Kakuzu with his sword and adamantine both out.

He started slashing at Kakuzu that fought back using his kunai. He kept pressuring him back using his lightning infuser sword and 2 clones.

Just as Kakuzu was about to counter-attack, Kakashi snuck up on him and stabbed him through the heart with his Lightning Cutter.

Naruti stood in place yet went full when he noticed that the man was still alive.

Kakuzu kicked back kakashi only for Naruto to kick him in the face sending him flying back.

"Let's play, nina tails." Kakuzu spoke as he took of his cloak. Black threads left his body with 4 masks falling to the ground, one of which broken to pieces.

"4 masks? For 4 lives? Trust me I would've loved to help but Im not leaving you with any." Naruto spoke.

He summoned his clones and rushed at him barraging him with attacks.

Kakuzu blasted all of them away and used 3 of his masks to attack him with wind, water and lightning attacks.

Naruto scoffed. Just as he was about to dodge, Hinata appeared infront of him using the heavenly spin.

"Leave, this is my fight." Naruto ordered.

"There's no me in this team. It's our fight." Kakashi spoke as he blasted a chidori at Kakuzu's heart only for the latter to dodge it.

"The same jutsu won't work twi-" Kakuzu's speech was cut short by a chidori to the heart.

"You were saying?" Sasuke spoke as he slashed his body nearly getting the second heart.

"You three suck." Natiti giggled.

Hr summoned 4 clones. 2 attacked Kakuzi that dodges them alongside the other 3 members of the team

"You'll never defeat me, I fought and survived against the first hokage!" Shouted the Akatsuki member.

"You won't survive his grandson tho." Kakashi spoke as he, Sasuke and Hinata jumped away.

"Huh?" Asked Kakuzu only to he met with a Rasen-shuriken straight to his face

He was blasted back as the jutsu created countless microscopic wind-blades that damaged his body on a cellular level shattering his 2 remaining hearts.

"4 down." He mumbled as he fell to the ground in exhaustion.

Sasuke and Hinata jumped next to him as the 3 started giggling.

"I haven't slept in like a week. I feel like I can rest now."
