Orochimaru and Itachi

Naruto was sitting with Hinata as the two discussed how scared they were for their teammate who hadn't been in the village for an entire day without any mention of the reason behind that.

While talking, a message appeared above Naruto, and the Uzumaki immediately knew that it was from Sasuke.

I took down Orochimaru and freed his prisoners, but I need help... I did something that you two won't like at all.

"I'm gonna murder him." Naruto mumbled.

He held Hinata's hand, and the 2 were teleported next to Sasuke with a girl next to his side.

"Uzumaki?!" Naruto asked, staring at the red head that he last saw in the chunin exam.

The girl beamed before rushing at him, giving him a quick hug.

"She was with Orochimaru, I saved her and wanted to help the rest, but they fought back instead, so we had to kill them." Sasuke explained.

"I can smell a lot of blood, yet your chakra seems full. How did you take them all out without using any chakra?" Hinata asked.

"It's not his chakra. It's a lot more sinister." Naruto said to himself.

"Karin refilled it with her chakra bite." Sasuke deadpanned.

"We'll talk later. Let's go back home." Naruto said as he teleported all of them to his house.

"Hinata, please take Karin and check up on her. Show her around the village she might move in it there's no other place." Naruto asked.

Hinata nodded, and the 2 immediately left while mumbling to each other.

"Nar-" sasuke was cut off by the adamantine chains wrapping around his body.

"Did Orochimaru add more chakra to your body? How did you even find him, and why didn't you ask me to go help you take him down?" Naruto barraged.

"He's been talking in my head every day cause of the curse mark. He told me about his place after I told him that I'd join once I noticed that you were weakened, which was during the week after Asuma's death. I went and took him out easily because he was really weak." Sasuke ranted.

"Well, he's down, so why is more chakra of his inside you?" Naruti asked again.

"... I absorbed him after he tried to take over my body." Sasuke said.

Naruto didn't move in the slightest, having expected that answer. Instead, he slowly walked towards Sasuke without any emotions.

He rested his hand on the Uchiha'd shoulder. The latter expected a slap or a punch to be the following action.

"Do you feel ok ? His chakra is really evil." Naruto spoke.

The Uchiha let out a sigh before nodding.

"I do feel weird, but I can get used to it if it's the power that I need to kill Itachi." Sasuke said.

Naruto just shook his head and sat down, followed by his teammate.

"This power isn't enough to take down Itachi. He could easily wipe the floor with Orochimaru. You taking the snake's power won't boost you enough to beat him." Naruto deadpanned.

Sasuke froze, feeling like the words said were meant to show that he wasn't strong enough.

"I can easily seal him away and thus take his powers from you, but I won't cause I know they'll benefit you. We'll train together until it's time you face Itachi, and then we'll seal this snake away once and for all." Naruto said with a smile.

Sasuke slightly nodded before Naruto teleported both of them to the training ground.

For a month, the 2 trained until Sasuke fell exhausted only for one of the Uzumakis to refill his reserves and stamina.

Naruto even made him an adamantine sword that he trained him in for hours every day as it might benefit him against Itachi.

During that time, he kept a secret away from everyone. His meeting with the older Uchiha 2 weeks into the training process.

The Uzumaki was sent on a mission to find a scroll that was missing from the Fuinjutsu section.

He was tracking it down when he encountered Itachi standing on his down with the scroll in hand

"Itachi Uchida." Naruto spoke as his Rinnegan appeared.

"Hello ,Uzumaki Naruto, I come in peace. I solely want to speak to the kid who saved my brother from the snake Orochimaru." Itachi spoke.

"Saved is an overstatement, but sure, say what you have." Naruto said, knowing that he had a counterattack to anything the Uchiha would use if he was lying.

Itachi was taken back by the confidence and trust that the teen showed in him.

"How's Sasuke's training?" Itachi asked.

"Fine, but he still can't beat you. I won't tell him the truth until I know you want to cause your plan seems to be a driving factor for him to work hard and achieve his potential." Naruto ranted.

"So you already know the truth about the massacre?" Itachi asked

"Jiraiya is my teacher and the person you give the information about the Akatsuki, of course I know." Naruto said.

"I see." Itachi said before he got ready to dispell the clone.

"Wait, this is a pill that I've been working on. It won't heal your chakra illness, but it will help you stay alive for a longer time until Sasuke is strong enough to do what you want him to." Nariti said as he handed him a scroll with a seal on it.

Itachi nodded before his body split onto crows. One of said crows went straight to Naruto's mouth, and the latter didn't bother fighting back as he didn't sense any bad intentions, and since he trsued the older shinobi.

During that time, another Itachi clone sneaked into the village to fight Sasuke only to tell him that he was too weak to actually kill him, something that Sasuke told Naruto the moment he was back in the village.

Naruto felt like the storm was coming but didn't know anything besides the fact that his job for the time heing was to train his teammates.
