3. Meeting the Team!

"Hey Peter, we're here, give the Compound a look. As long as your an Avenger, this is your new home", says Tony.

Peter looks at the Compound in amazement.

"You like it? State of the Art Base, only the best for Earth's Mightest Heroes."

Peter chuckles.

"I can't believe I, or Spider-Man, is now one of Earth's Mightest Heroes!"

"Well, believe it Spider-Man, you've proven yourself that you deserve to be an Avenger. I should tell you, now that your an Avenger, you gotta work hard to prove you deserve to be here, especially with Peggy."

"Cool, and don't you worry, I'll prove I belong here. The hard work doesn't end."

"Attaboy Underoos!"

Peter looks out the window as the car comes to a stop.

"You ready to meet the team?", asks Tony

"Ready as I'll ever be."

The two exit the car, and walk towards the entrance.

Peter hears a loud noise and sees a jet leave the landing pad.

"One of these days, when your ready for a mission, you'll be riding in one of those things."

"Woah, awesome jet!"

"It's called a Quinjet."

Peter nods as he smiles. For the nerd inside Peter, this is heaven.

"I bet your thinking your in berd heaven, aren't you?"

"Yeah, this is amazing!"

"Only the best for my team. He, whyvdont I show you something. I worked on it for you, with your suit in mind, and created a suit for you."

"You created a suit for me?"

"Yeah. Not like the in you have, it's different. I call it, The Iron Spider Armor!"

A secret part of a wall opens up.

Peter's sees the Red and Gold Iron Spider.

"Woah!"

"You like it? I finished it up earlier today."

Peter's just speechless at this point.

"Peter, your drooling", says Tony, in a teasing manner.

Peter cleans his face, and looks at Tony.

"Can't believe I feel for that."

"I'm sorry, but that was funny", Tony says, while laughing.

Peter starts laughing also.

"Ok, you ready for reals this time?"

"Yeah, let's do it."

The two head up to the top floors of the Avengers Compound and find Vision, along with Wanda, Natasha and Peggy.

"Who's this young fellow?"

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like you to meet Peter Parker, or as he's known, Spider-Man."

"It's nice to meet you."

"Hello Mr. Parker, welcome."

"Not that I'm amazing something, but aren't you a little young looking. How old are you?"

"I'm 17, turning 18 in less than a month."

Tony smiles. He has an idea.

"Oh that's good. You look younger than you are."

"I get that alot Ms. Romanoff."

"Please Peter, call me Natasha."

"Alright."

Tony's phone rings, and see's its Pepper.

"It's the misses, I gotta take this. You mind giving him the tour and showing him to his room?"

"I got this Stark."

"Thanks Wanda."

Tony leave as he answers the phone.

"Follow me, I'll show you around."

Peter follows Wanda.

"I'm not gonna lie, I was excited to hear Spider-Man was gonna join the team."

Peter smiles.

"Really?"

Wanda nods.

"Yeah. I think what you do is amazing. Fighting for the little guys."

Peter smiles even more.

"I'm not gonna lie, this is exciting. I never thought Spider-Man would be good enough to be an Avenger."

"Don't sell yourself short Peter. I believe you belong here."

"You think so?"

"I know so. Now, let's get this tour of the Compound started."

Half an Hour Later

Peter and Wanda walk into the Common room and it empty.

"Hey FRIDAY, where is everyone?"

"Ms. Carter is in the training room. Mr. Wilson is in his room. Ms. Romanoff is out. Vision is outside and Mr. Stark left just 10 minutes ago."

"So, I guess it's just us for now."

"I guess so."

Wanda and Peter take a seat on a couch, but they sit apart from each other.

"So, I wanna ask, how does one specifically get powers of a spider?"

Peter chuckles.

"Now that's a stroy."

"I'm all ears."
