Y/n POV

Today was my first day at this school. What was its name again? Sorry, Rivercrest high. After my parents decided it was best to move nearer to their jobs soon, we came to this town. Now thinking about it's not a bad idea. I hated my old school, anyway. I stood in front of this building. Rivercrest high is not bad from its appearance, aside from the rumors. Although I don't consider myself with drama, this one stands out. They say no new student wasn't able to survive the first day. Interesting, I want to see this for myself. Honestly coming to this school wasn't intriguing at all. I walk toward the front door, looking around. The environment was neat and clean for once, but unfortunately, these people had poor taste in fashion. But it's not my place to judge.
"Well, it's time to enter this hell hole," I mumbled to myself as I entered through the front door.

A cluster of people was walking on the corridor, in their different groups, talking. I noticed that there were a lot of different types of students. The way they dressed, carried themselves, acted, and even treated other people was unique.

Some of the students were dressed in a professional way like they were ready to take on a high-profile job, while others dressed in a more casual style, they looked comfortable and relaxed. There were also people who were dressed in an alternative way, with a lot of tattoos and piercings, their clothing was very cool and edgy. Anyway, I continued walking down the corridor to find my class. A girl blocked my path.

"Ahem, Can I help you?" I curiously asked her. Judging by her blonde hair with the number of accessories, amber eyes, and enthusiastic smile. She must be very popular at this school.
"I'm Yoimiya. Welcome to Rivercrest high. You must be new there. I'm the vice president of the student council. Allow me to show you around." She said, seeming to be in a cheerful tone. Wow, this girl has so much energy, unlike someone. You can literally feel it generated by her. I put on a pleased smile.

"Nice to meet you, Yoimiya. My name is Y/n." I replied in a matching tone. "Well, you are in for a treat?" A treat? You mean a hell zone. "That's great, thanks," I agreed to her proposal and then went to follow her. She introduces some classes and her close friends etc. Basically, giving me a tour around the school.

As she was talking to a friend, suddenly, people started running to clear the area. Is this a parade of something? Why is everyone lined up looking scared?
"What is happening?" I asked yoimiya beside me. I turned to look at a dark green-haired boy dressed in black walking down with a group of boys behind, wearing a smirk on his face.

"This person you see is xiao, He's the school's number one bully, and everyone in the school is terrified of getting on his bad side. In their eyes, he was rude, mean, and the most dominant of the students. Every day, he is proud to be the school's bully. He does his best to make everyone fear and hate him." She spoke with fear in her eyes. "Wow! he seems to be a typical bully in a book, not impressing enough," I said sarcastically, I was quite displeased by his sudden entrance.

"Apparently, he thought most girls were just playthings he could use, and then discard when he got bored with them. He would even flirt with a new girl for a few weeks, and then after he thought he had gotten everything he wanted from her, he would ghost her, leaving her thinking that she had done something wrong." She explained.

"So he is a heartbreaker and a jerk. Pretty much it's expected coming from a bully." I replied, shrugging my shoulder as I continued watching this person passing. As he was about to take another step his golden eyes met mine. Time seemed to stop as we stared at each other. Why do I feel the more I stare at him, the more I feel the urge to be near him? One look from him can hypnotize any girl to fall head over heels. No, I have priorities straight. I can't just be like a boy on the first day, especially a bully. Who would like a bully seriously? He smirked widely at me as he continued his way. What a great day how to start school! A bully, taking a liking to me.

When he disappeared, the people acted as if nothing had occurred. If I could guess, I would say he owns the school, and his family is rich that no one can stop him. God, I should listen to their warning. Novels do really affect how I function. It's like my life is a novel. The bell rang, and everyone swiftly went to class.

"Come on Y/n, I will show u to your classroom." The day went by as usual how the school will be with some boring classes and lectures, introducing yourself to all of them, meeting with teachers, and some noisy classmates hitting on you. You know they must be professionals in putting people to sleep. I always sit at the back taking notes while half the class is asleep. I can't blame them, though. There was this one particular boy in class. His name was. Ahem, was it Venti? I like his hair extension. However, why was he drooling on the desk? That disgusted me. It was midday when Yoimiya took me to the Cafeteria for lunch with her friends as I read a novel. Don't worry! It's not erotica. I won't dare to read those in public.

When we were walking there, a hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the corner. What is the sudden intrusion of my privacy? Who was this bold and shameless? Well, not surprised at all to see those familiar golden eyes. In other terms, Xiao
