If I had a black list, I would also put the inventor of alarms.

The sun was already hot and shining high in the sky, illuminating also the suite through the curtains not completely closed.

My alarm was buzzing on the small table next to the bed for a while now but I didn't have the force- and actually also the will- to turn around in the bed and switch it off. I was so exhausted and after all, this bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in. Being a driver who travels the world, living in some of the fanciest and luxurious hotels, wasn't that bad at all.

"Urgh. Can you just turn it off? It's killing my ears." Lando whispered with all his grumpiness, pulling the duvets a bit more up to his body with an arm while the other keep tightening his grip on my waist.

"If you pull away, just a little bit, I'll do it."

His loud grunt was soon followed by his body leaving mine, so I was finally able to move.

I took the phone and swiped to turn it down. After closing the clock app, in front of my eyes appeared my home lock screen, showing me the time.

"Oh no. Shit!"

"Babe, why are you screaming?"

"Shit shit shit! I can't believe it. Oh my goodness."

I got up that quickly that I've almost tripped on the duvets.

"I'm confused, what's happening?" He said, sitting up in the bed too, looking at me with pure confusion on his still sleepy face.

"It's so late Lando! I was supposed to be at a meeting with the team 10 minutes ago! Merda, Franz is gonna kill me!"

I hate being late. I hate the stupid alarms. And I hate that it's too late now for my morning cuddles in bed.

"Hey, hey, slow down. Call your manager and tell her that you have overslept. For once that you're able to sleep, they won't get mad."

He wasn't wrong but the problems were too many.

First of all the meeting was important to talk and decide the strategies for today's race, as we didn't get the chance to do it yesterday because of some problems we were dealing with the car. Second of all, also Horner would be there, something about to supervise our job or stuff like this. Third, I was still new in the team, I wasn't allowed to do mistakes.

"Fuck. Where's my shirt?" I was still in my underwear, trying to pull up my pants while jumping around the room, looking for my right shoe too.

"I have no idea." He laughed at me but soon stopped when I almost killed him with just a look. "Try in the bathroom."

I ran in the other room while zipping up the pair of jeans I was wearing yesterday night. "Found it!"

Lando got up too and put some sweatpants on that were on the floor with many other clothes.

"Hey, ehm, you know...I was thinking..." he said while I was trying to brush the terrible morning hair with my hands, as all my toiletries were in my room.

"It's never a good thing when you do." I teased him, making him chuckle.

"As we're spending lot of time together again and I don't have any idea of fuck it up again... Why don't you bring some of your things in my room? In this way, you could always stay a bit longer and get ready here without running in the hallway like, I don't know, a thief."

I stopped to lock my bracelets around my wrist, looking him through the mirror I stood in front. I didn't expect any of this, I didn't have any good answers at the moment.
