"Wait! I know him!"

Npg suddenly shouts out, Ex, Hels and Xoronoth's heads snap to Npg.

"Ufhhh" the unknown person groans as they begin to stir from their unconscious state.

"Who are they?"

Asked EX

"I think their name is tortoise or something"

"Taurtis- my name is Taurtis." Corrected the man.
He groaned when he sat up.

"Oh!- sorry Grian I didn't notice I was laying on you!"

Taurtis tried to apologize, Grian let out a strained wheeze in response to the apology.

Npg thought for a while..

"Ooh! Your the guy who used to do build battles with grian!"

"I was also in highschool, Evo, and went to watcher training with him!"

"Can't forget kindergarten.."

Wheezed Grian.

"That too"

Taurtis extends his hand to help Grian up. Grian gratefully accepted this gesture.

"Thank you"

Grian says while dusting of his sweater.

"Hey Grian?"

"Yes Hels?"

"You're still sick aren't you?"

Grian sneezed.

"Darn it Hels, I was running on adrenaline."

And then Grian collapsed.

"OH MY GOD! Is this a normal occurrence?"

Taurtis asks

"Basically"

Replied the Helsians.
Xoronoth just looked on quietly.

"Have fun moving him I'm going back to the CLOSET."

"Ughhhhhh"

Ex whined as he gripped Grian's arms and hoisted him up. Hels decided to pick up Grian's legs. Npg just watched and snickered.

"Come help us you prick."

Spat Hels

"Yeah yeah."

Npg put his arms under Grian's back like an fork lift.
They carried Grian to his room and dropped him on the bed.

"Oh and also-"
"I'm going to fill in the new-comer you guys get to take turns watching him!"

"What that's not fair!"

Dramatically cried out Ex.

"And what if one of the hermits comes to check up on him?"

Hels asked nervously.

"I'll drag Taurtis to the closet and you two can hide under the bed together again!"

Hels and Ex lightly blushed

"DONT MENTION THAT!"

Yelled Ex. Npg just laughed and walked out the door.
Hels sat on the floor pulling Ex down with him. Ex lost his ballance and fell on Hels lap. Ex scrambled to get back up, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"If grian wasn't sleep, he'd probably be laughing."

Hels commented quietly.

"Yeah.."

Meanwhile in Grian's fever Dreams

"Why am I back here!?"

Grian felt panic spike in his chest as he felt the cold quartz mask on his face covering his eyes.

"XELQUA you're going to be late to training if you don't get up right now."

XANTHUS yelled from the door way.
Gria- XELQUA curled into a ball of panic.

"XELQUA? Are you ok?"

XANTHUS approached carefully. Once XANTHUS reached the corner of the bed he poked Gr- XELQUA's arm gently.

"Hey."

XELQUA looked up in shock and pulled XANTHUS into a tight hug.

"Hey buddy.. what's going on? You can talk about it with me."

XELQUA let out a sob and hugged XANTHUS tighter.

"I-"
"This is all dream isn't it."

The memories fade to black.

In a purple flash 2nd hand watcher XIRITE appears infront Grian . Another flash of purple behind him signaled that the 1st hand watcher had appeared too.

"XIRITE. ORATHIAN."

Grian scowled.

"He's getting better at realising when it's our illusions."

XIRITE said.

"Just come home 3rd watcher  XELQUA, and all of your misdeeds will be forgotten."

Chimed in ORATHIAN

"Thanks but no thanks."
"I'd rather leave my rank void and null than join you and your stupid hierarchy."

XIRITE and ORATHIAN sighed in unison.

"Then may you be damned to eternal sleep XELQUA."
