chp. 14

Waking up randomly, Selene had to go to the bathroom. She sat up and rubbed her eye, looking to her right seeing Sunoo snuggle up, Jay and Niki backs facing each other and Titó on the ground sleeping beside her.

She put her feet carefully on the floor trying not to make noise, but still waking up her dog. He sprung up immediately seeing Selene walk towards the bathroom.

She went inside there for quite a while until her dog whined. She opened the door, seeing her dog laying down in front of the door. She smiled rubbing her eyes again, kneeling down to her dog.

She noticed that there wasn't much food or snacks you can say for all 4 of them. "Imma go get some snacks, wanna come?" She patted his head as he wagged his tail. She looked behind her and checked the time, "it's 6:00.. not that late.." she quietly put on her uggs she got from the Mall and quietly tiptoed to the door.

She tried her best to be quiet cause of the door squeaking. She sighed and thought of an idea. She saw a window in the bathroom earlier, so she thought of getting out from there. Successfully, she was able to get out with Titó.

She walked to a nearby CVS and walked inside. She immediately walked to the snack aisle. Going through it, she picked up some bags of chips, snacks, and some drinks for Sunoo, Jay and Niki.

After that, she was curious to checked if they're was money in the cash register. She walked towards it and check the register for some money. Turns out, there was about 100$ in it. She took it her bag and walked out.

She turned to look for Titó, but she saw him, infront of a tree barking. She walked towards him "Hey, hey calm down" she look to the direction from where Titó was barking but nothing. "Is he seeing ghosts or what?" She talked to herself before walking with Titó next to her.

But not far from there, was a figure standing behind a tree, staring into Titó. He noticed the dog barking, noticing a shadow walking towards it. He just walked away from the spot, disappearing into thin air.

Walking to the room of the Motel, she saw Sunoo outside, looking concern. He looked up, seeing Selene walk towards him with Titó and a bag full of munchies and drinks. "Oh my god, we were so worried for you" he went up to her and hugged her.

"Are you okay? Did you see someone else?" He got her head and moved it in different directions, checking her. She then backed up from him "Ouch" she held her neck and head for comfort, "and no I didn't see someone else.. but a ghost maybe" he then made a face at her "tch ghost my ass" and walked inside. She just grinned and walked inside the room along with Titó and Sunoo.

She lifted up the bag "I brought some snacks if you guys want any" she said throwing it to the couch. All of them, expect for Selene got the bag and got whatever the could. They then all sat on the bed, eating what the got.

"Why did you leave so early?" Niki asked her munching onto his breakfast chips. "I had to go the bathroom, and realized we didn't have much food, so I decided to go get some for you guys" she smiled seeing them enjoy their snacks.

Sunoo then nicely handed her his extra snack but she declined them, "Enjoy it, don't worry about me" she smiled at them again, with them all returning one.

After a couple minutes of eating, Selene got up and said "let's go?" ready to pack up and leave. They all nodded and began packing up their things. Jay then realized Titó hasn't eaten so he gave him some of his water and gave her some of his extra left yogurt.

"Ready?" She asked with her bags ready and things. Soon, they all left the motel and headed to the car. "Where off to now?" Jay asked her.

"You'll see" she replied, turning the engine on and smiled.
