It's been almost 2 months since the virus has been happening and Selene has been stuck inside her home, along with her pet dog, Doberman, Titó, all alone.
No Mom, No siblings, No Nobody.
She felt emotionally drained.
She thought she was the last person alive.
Is what she thought..
As selene was washing her clothes, she heard a ding from her phone. She immediately got her phone and opened it. It was the news.
She's always been keeping updated about the news, hoping for new updates until now from an unknown website she found on her phone. She quickly opened the only available website and read it.
"Reported News has said that now, it's fully noticed that the virus has gone away. Thank you for your service."
She slightly smiled at the screen, looked at Titó who was sleeping on her bed, unbothered. It has been 2 months without going outside and now she can go. But is she scared? Yes she still is. But did she want to go out badly? Maybe.
It's been a while since she went outside, only being able to see the outside by just window and looking. Not ever exploring or anything.. No.
She quietly put on her flats and grabbed a mask and protection incase anything happens. She ran to the door standing in front of it, hesitating to open it or not. She was scared if anything happened.
I mean, she was the last person on earth .. Right?
Above that, she finally opened the door, to see an empty street. She shivered as a chilly breeze hit her skin. "Woah" was the only thing that came out of her mouth.
She took a step out of her door porch and looked to her right-then-left. No one was there. Just her. Nobody.
Empty blank street, abandoned houses, sounds of birds chirping, trees moving.
It looked depressing.
She wanted to check if anyone was still there, "Hello?" her small voice echoed through the streets, "Is anyone there?" she said again, but all she heard was her voice rolling through the street for the last time before sighing. She looked down about to head inside, thinking no one would hear her until someone replied.
"Hello" a deep unknown voice replied back. She slightly jumped at the echoing voice that replied to her. She softly turned to her right, "H-Hello?" She replied back, cracking a smile knowing she's finally not alone.
I mean, is she?
"A-Are you real?" She said softly "I am" he responded back. She slightly smiled and took a step out of her porch. "Are you sure?" She said unsure, but about to shed tears. "Yes, I'm really sure" he said that sounded like a giggle.
"Oh my" She began to cry tears until her dog finally came next to her, rubbing it's head against her thigh. She smiled at him, "I guess I'm not the only one alive" she whispered, patting his head.
She headed inside the house, plopping herself down the couch and thought "What if there's more people alive?" She overthinks for some time, resulting in taking a nap.
She woke up hours later and realized it turned dark. She took a small look out the window to see the full moon. "Me and Eve would already be complimenting the moon, it's so pretty, right Titó?" She looked to her right and see he's sleeping.
She sighed thinking about the things her and her family would've done if this virus wouldn't happened at all.
